randomGuy Posted September 28, 2025 Posted September 28, 2025 Created accounts on both, some glitches due to increased load but company says it will be resolved in a day or two by increasing servers. Gmail gives 15 gb free space Zohomail gives 5 gb....I hope it becomes more popular I may change email in banks etc. There are good apps like zoho workdrive, zoho sheets and various other apps which I may install. Data is stored in India.
randomGuy Posted September 28, 2025 Author Posted September 28, 2025 Now even the banks operating in India have to mandatorily move to .in domain very shortly from .com etc.

Lone Wolf Posted September 28, 2025 Posted September 28, 2025 Arattai looks cool but messaging lacks end to end encryption. Instant deal breaker this one. Hopefully they work on this

Mariyam Posted September 29, 2025 Posted September 29, 2025 We are clients of Zohobooks. Mainly for tax compliance related stuff. Their built-in modes means that we don't need the CA as frequently that we did say 6 years ago. Zoho haven't pushed for subscription to Zohomail ever. That is a good attitude. randomGuy 1

kepler37b Posted September 30, 2025 Posted September 30, 2025 I am on arattaai too. Well designed app. Will try zohomail soon.
bharathh Posted September 30, 2025 Posted September 30, 2025 Zoho mail is good. Cheaper than gmail for more storage. With gmail and facebook becoming the norm for oAuth 2.0 it will hard for people to dump Gmail though. It requires a firewall like what the Chinese made.
kepler37b Posted September 30, 2025 Posted September 30, 2025 The strength of gmail is android. If not for it, it's usage would be far less. Lord 1
IndianRenegade Posted October 1, 2025 Posted October 1, 2025 for me, it doesn't go beyoind Initializing after I entered the OTP. does it work in the US?

For me as well it did not proceed after I entered OTP but when I restarted the app the account and email were already created. So no issues and I will give them this much given that they have 2 million new registrations day wise now (monthly runrate of 6 cr. , whatsapp has 60cr users in India) Edited October 1, 2025 by randomGuy
randomGuy Posted October 1, 2025 Author Posted October 1, 2025 Today I opened up arattai n found 20 of my contacts already on it(click explore contacts). I put up my pic also. It is picking up pace.
