Gollum Posted October 20, 2025 Posted October 20, 2025 Since last year's tour of India, Rachin has struggled across formats. Even Jaiswal is seeing a slight dip after his stellar start. Brook is untested in Ind, Aus. Green, Kamindu sabka yahi haal hai ab. Just goes on to show how difficult it is for even the most talented prodigies to maintain their level once their game is dissected and plans formulated by opponents.
Lone Wolf Posted October 20, 2025 Posted October 20, 2025 Salt is on a unreal run in T20s... Perfect dasher at the top. Him and Abhishek are leading the pack atm. Brook has game for all three formats. Bethell is still raw and young. Solid core is developing for them. Finn Allen is injured or what?? Arguably best T20 batter in NZ. Heard he has a bit of Jesse Ryder type Casanova lifestyle. Gollum 1

Could have been one of the greats if not for his lifestyle issues. Lone Wolf 1
Gollum Posted October 20, 2025 Posted October 20, 2025 Next year's WC will be tougher than '24 edition for sure. Aussies and Poms seem to have corrected their squads since last time, Aus especially is looking dangerous, NZ is always a threat for us. We aren't helping ourselves with self imposed handicaps like Gill being made a sure starter, bringing Washi back into T20I fold when we already have KD/Chakri/Axar. tapandrun and rollingstoned 2

Kiwi fans accuse often that he is non serious about playing for NZ.. some disciplinary stuff as well. It's a shame actually coz bro is actually a gifted ball striker. Probably would come in for that T20 WC in India Destroys Pakistanis a lot though Edited October 20, 2025 by Lone Wolf Gollum 1

Probably would come in for that T20 WC in India Destroys Pakistanis a lot though Allen has T20i avg of 25 which is mostly due to his 53 avg vs sctlnd and 40 vs Pak. Against rest of the teams he avgs. below 25. His off-side game is not that developed and hrdly uses full extension of arms Edited October 20, 2025 by tapandrun crictime 1

Either refuses to tour Pakistan or skips a lot of their games. I haven't seen him touring much tbh. Kiwis have a lone ICC win over Australia in last 7-8 years and thanks to Finn Allen assault over Starc Hazelwood Cummins in SCG in 2022. Edited October 21, 2025 by Lone Wolf

Somewhat similar to Jake Fraser Mc Gurg - the types who have found it tough to maintain a spot in international team. Is he even in the squad of 15 nowadays ?

He refused the NZC central contract due to us t20 league. But he is available to play for NZ if they want him. He is powerful legside hitter of pace bowling, and as said he does not have fully developed off-side game and as most young sena batters struggles a bit vs spin. Think he was with rcb for 1 season. The day he will click will ensure the game for the team. NZ has multiple options for top order who are multi utility, think he lacks bit there as well.

Yes a powerful 6 hitter, but not as consistent and not that good vs spin. He has hit record 19 sixes in a mlc match and 1 game vs pak he hit 16 big sixes which is also a record vs full test team. That team had shaheen, zaman khan, rauf

Mcgurg not only tries to hit evey-ball but to destroy it. He just need to work on this. This is where Abhishek and Head are good they are not trying to destroy the ball and not looking to hit six every ball they know sometime clearing the inner ring can get the a 4. crictime 1
diga Posted October 26, 2025 Posted October 26, 2025 Eng - 44/5 .. who is this new NZ bowler Zachary Foulkes? PS: May be Aussies have a pitch blueprint for Ashes .. Bazball will not work on spicy pitches
rollingstoned Posted October 26, 2025 Posted October 26, 2025 Engerlund getting destroyed in the first odi.
rollingstoned Posted October 26, 2025 Posted October 26, 2025 This hitting out of trouble strategy won't work in every situation.
vvvslaxman Posted October 26, 2025 Posted October 26, 2025 Swing is the key. India needs these swing bowlers . Banana swingers. ALl these new zealanders were swinging the ball
