CWC23,there too they fought well with a meagre total and stretched eventual champions Aus after comfortably beating them in the league stage vvvslaxman and Gollum 2

Difference was fielding, Aussies took many stunners and saved sure shot boundaries, RSA kept dropping catches. Even Bavuma's captaincy (especially rotation of spinners) was pathetic that night. Head MOTM. First dismissed the dangerous, well set Klaasen against the run of play. Then his opening blitz of a knock, quickfire 60+. Quite a resume he has, WC SF and F MOTM, WTC F MOTM. Gollum Posted November 24, 2025 Posted November 24, 2025 (edited) They are doing something right with their cricket. What a comeback story since 2022, in all formats, men/women. Back them to defend their WTC mace in Lord's, 2027. Edited November 24, 2025 by Gollum

vvvslaxman Posted November 24, 2025 Author Posted November 24, 2025 Even SA A beat almost INdia A comprehensively. They have proven they can come back from any position in Tests. Opposite of what they do in LOIs where they go from commanding position to losing position.
Lord Posted November 24, 2025 Posted November 24, 2025 Completely outplayed us. Their batsmen have batted more sensibly. Spinners have outbowled ours including Kuldeep Jansen has outbowled Bumrah Dropped no/less catches Fully deserved whitewash

Same Aussie fielding won them the final too. Stopped so many boundaries and made difference of atleast 30 runs. While we still treat it as afterthought
