How do you guys rate?

In T20 had an amazing run inspite of clown Gambhir. Won Asia cup.  In ODis won CT.  In Tests had one epic series. Bullied West Indies.  Gill's injury cost us one test. Got shellacking in the 2nd test. I say below average in Tests. Above average in other two formats

Good 2025, only because of our women players who did the impossible. They gave young Indians who weren't there during 1983, something to remember for the rest of their lives.

BCCI and the men's team have made Indian cricket a laughing stock.

Test team is going nowhere now, second consecutive home whitewash against SENA, record margin of defeat in Guwahati, a complete no-show. We are almost out of WTC so early, how can it be anything short of a disaster year for the men?

CT win was good but it was rigged so much in our favor, that can't enjoy it like our 24 T20 WC win. We had nothing to gain, everything to lose because of all the favors. RSA, NZ had to travel all the way to Dubai and immediately go back to Pak for the SF, what a farce, complete mismanagement.

BCCI bowing before PCB so soon after Sindoor, even off-field, we collected major Ls. If our armed forces veterans and Pahalgam widows had to come on TV crying for us to boycott the game against Pak, it can't get worse than that. There is no redemption for such a betrayal.

2025, in fact this entire decade will be remembered years from now only for these two feats (Unless we win 27 WC by beating Aussies in the final)...even last year's T20 WC win doesn't stand out like these two.

So 2025 is a golden year for Indian cricket despite everything else that happened. Just like how the UAE T20 WC didn't sully our 2021.

Excluding IPL across formats Bumrah/Siraj have bowled more than any Australian bowler.

also remember we played some long ass tests in England and also Australia where every game went to day 5.

yes Despite missing two tests there Bumrah had fair share of workloads across formats excluding IPL. I think he can manage it better if he skips all the bilaterals, useless tournaments like Asia cup in the limited overs. IPL, Tests,   ICC events. That is a better way of managing his workload.
