That kaboon bat is why smaller to what warner was using, it had 50+ mm edges 71 mm spine. 

GN Aus bat-maker came up with a serious bat profile. Many other tired to copy but no one came close.

 

It was great time for bat shapes till the ICC came with those restrictions.

 

The last bat laminated bats they have been there for a long time, many bat makers have experimented with it, though such thing is not allowed in proff. cricket.

But its believe that those kind of bat have better ping.

Warner bat was probably the most punch until it was banned. In this video he hits a 94 meter six with that.

Amazing to say the least. Never expected Sunil Shetty to face 80 mph balls at an age of 64.

I think he played club cricket before acting. Still 80 mph is insane
