Saw couple of articles online about it. They are not going anywhere. This is just another opportunity for them to blackmail the ICC into giving them a bigger cut from the ICC revenue. BCCI should simply say we will not conduct the tournament if the matches are shifted out of here and see how the ICC responds. Edited January 19 by Tillu raki05 1

Well one thing is for sure, this edition of WC wins the DRAMA competition hands down. No question about it.
deathmonger Posted January 21 Posted January 21 Aukaat These Pakistani/Kanglus still think they are sem2sem with India.
CommonMan Posted January 21 Posted January 21 “Despite these efforts, the BCB maintained its position, repeatedly linking its participation in the tournament to a single, isolated and unrelated development concerning one of its player’s involvement in a domestic league. This linkage has no bearing on the tournament’s security framework or the conditions governing participation in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup." https://www.icc-cricket.com/media-releases/icc-board-decides-to-uphold-published-match-schedule-for-icc-men-s-t20-world-cup-2026

tapandrun Posted January 21 Posted January 21 What Bcb is doing rt. now may harm them in long run, may be in just in 1 year or so the outcomes will show up fr all this. They are also putting their hosting of odi-wc-27 in risk as well.

IndianRenegade Posted January 21 Posted January 21 FIne both boards, & ban them if they refuse to comply. Destroy their cricket.

If they refuse to comply with the fine. They seem to belive that they can do anything & there will be no repurcurrsions, like running away with the trophy that India won. You need to put the foot down & make it clear it is the end of cricket for them if they go beyond their limits. Edited January 21 by IndianRenegade
