Who d F do these clowns think they are lol. They are fighting for survival. They are hated by 80% of it's own populace. Opposing the regime does not mean agreeing to uncle sam. Majority hate the regime. This is the source: https://gamaan.org/2025/11/05/12-day-war-survey-english/. It esitmates opposition at 60 - 80 percent. There have been multiple uprisings and protests in the last decade. All of them put down by brutal violence. Every aspect of iranian society has been infiltrated by Mossad. These are clear signs of dissent. Mullah regime must go.
kepler37b Posted April 19 Author Posted April 19 https://gamaan.org/2025/11/05/12-day-war-survey-english/ Regarding favorability of countries, asked in this survey, the United States received the most positive ratings (53%) and the least negative (37%) among Iranians . If the ground invasion comes, there WILL not be afghan/vietnamese style hostility from population.

It doesn't make sense for them to let their enemies(US and Israel) off the leash after they bombiled their leadership, cities, universities. All countries have the principle right to defend their sovereignty. Great so do that specifically against the parties they have an issue with. They can’t hold the world ransom for their incompetence n lack of ability to defend themselves. Is the naval blockade targeting the world? It’s specifically targeted just towards this militia. MK55 Posted April 19 Posted April 19 (edited) So Iran basically thinks that if they are not allowed to trade oil globally, no one else should be allowed to transit the strait. And since these guys are claiming they have a some kind of inherited right to do this - Firstly even if they r a coastal state, the actual passage is surrounded by both Iran and Oman. Now they can exert some security presence in their half but they cannot under any circumstance extend that to the other half (Oman’s side). Secondly, even if they r a costal state, they are not supposed to block the passage for international transit. Now the exception is if they say they r acting in self defense by claiming that there is an active wartime threat. But the fact that there is a ceasefire and no active war going on makes that very weak. The problem is that these guys think the world should be helping them since they can’t defend themselves. And because no one’s interested in their regime / get involved, they are have having a tantrum. But that’s not how life works. U accept n rebuild. Edited April 19 by MK55 kepler37b 1
MK55 Posted April 19 Posted April 19 Anyways since the closure of the strait is now conditional on the naval blockade (which can be reversed anytime), I don’t expect that to last beyond the ceasefire end date. The markets won’t like closure and so most likely there will be a a removal. Iran should make sure they head to the talks and offer something - no matter how big or small. That will be enough to influence the reversal of the blockade by claiming some small political concession / victory and then they can keep going on and on and on about the nuclear thing which frankly no one really cares about anymore.
bsriharsha Posted April 19 Posted April 19 What negotiation is Asim munir doing that only leads to more hardline stances being taken ?

ICF bro's mistake our opportunistic dalaali with Iran for friendship. They are NOT our friends. We are a superior civilization. You need to come out of your Islamophobic worldview and see things from a neutral standpoint. Again, hating Pakistan should not conflate with hating any Islamic regime without understanding the issue from a neutral perspective.

On the other hand, a survey by Western media might be flawed. But my hunch is that more than half of iranians want them gone. And IRGC is not some anti-western nationalist group. It is a bunch of hard boiled Islamists terrorists with a stamp of approval from equally barbaric mullah regime. These are the events that happened: The opposition to Shaw was from communists, students, merchants, nationalists, socialists etc.,. Along with mullah's. It was from all aspects of Iranian society. Once the mullah came to power, he suppressed the other groups and IRGC was born out of that blood lust. It is not a genuine anti-western group. It is a islamic fundamentalist terrorist organization that is designed to suppress other political factions.

As of now, They aren't letting the ships pass. We have a Vishakapatnam class destroyer waiting at the Gulf of Oman to escort the ships home. Some tough love is in order for the Iranians. They can't afford to piss off neutral countries and still hope to maintain support. Laaloo 1
