I would host the final on a Saturday at Chennai or the venue where India has the best record. I would definitely use data and analytics for selecting the venue unlike selecting the worst venue for our team.

Finding the most suited venue for Team India isn't really Analytics and more like a simple search but at least is backed by data, and gives us the best chance. Unlike BCCI who would host Olympics Ice Hockey final also at this venue if they had their way.

We do. Why do you think Sundar replaced Axar? Gambhir picked Sundar so his off-spin could be used against SA lefties (De Kock, Rickleton, Miller, Jansen) and he used data for the matchup. It's just that we don't use the data properly else data would've shown Sundar is nowhere close to Axar in LOIs. Just because Sundar is an off-spinner doesn't make him better than Axar as Axar is a better bowler, batter and a fielder. Gambhir missed that.

In a way losing to them was good?  If we had finished first we might have faced  NZ at Eden Gardens lol

We have not done well on Amdavad pitch and under its conditions, so switch hotels? Instead, why don't they use the available data to adapt to the conditions on the field and not the hotel or dressing room or whatever else
