* Amazing atmosphere - 125k+ people chanting that create vibes unlike any other stadium 

* Wonderful  ground (makes most of the other stadiums in the subcon look outdated despite their renovations) … My only gripe is no lounging area with buffet and pool 

* A variety of pitches 

 

The marque stadium of India has chosen itself to create history for Team India:

The first time a team has won a T20 World Cup at home
