In the larger scheme of things, it should not as teams have to play each other twice at some point. Even GT and RCB played each other twice in 3 games. It is likely that more teams could have played some teams more frequently in a period than against other teams. tapandrun 1

LSG has lost 6 games in a row (or something close to that) iirc so the assumption would be that it is a points donor, however, if it picks up its game to win 2-3 games (even leveraging law of averages), it can throw a team (or teams), it does not give points to. Also all its games are against teams competing for a playoff spot. CSK has both its games remaining with it. Like you said, many bottom teams can spoil playoff spot plans, but if we have to pick one as the playoff maker, it would be LSG this season! Edited May 7 by zen
