Patience guys, our women's T20 side is a work in progress, will take some time to get in the right personnel. Just build a team for 2032 Brisbane, slow and steady. 

 

We were always underdogs in our group, if you guys watched the recent series against RSA and Eng. 

 

Hope for the best but no need to get emotional.

Playing the new girl was a poor decision. How can they play someone who has zero match practice in a must win game.  Reddy should be nowhere near our squad. YesRadha yadav was the main villain in this piece. But the real impetus started when the leg spinner lost her line and length.

Yea.  All the issues that we saw today was nto new. India's fieldign was worse than school level fieldig 2 years back. They have come a long way. T20 needs certain ingreidietns which India doesn't have. At this point we rely on us having perfect game to win against big teams. We are not australia who can have an imperfect day and still win it.

RSA players are likable, showed a lot of class after the 25 WC final defeat. Wolf girl, Kapp, de Klerk etc. 

 

If not us, hope they win the damn thing. Have come close a few times before in ICC events, go RSA. After NZ and Ind, will be nice to see another non Aus/Eng women's side win an ICC trophy.

No offense. But people will get upset if your captain is smiling when things are going horribly wrong. Indian fans are passionate even if our team is not good enough. They expect a lot. ATleast she should show some seriousness. She made some tactical blunders like taking off Shafali and Sree charani needlessly.. Sree charani was bowling from other end if i recall. She got a lot of purchsae. THen end got swapped . Not sure why.

 

TBH it's good that people are upset and angry. That means people care and are vested into the sport. Can you imagine the same reaction to women's cricket just a decade back? What you don't want is apathy or just a shrug of the shoulder as that means people have stopped caring. That would be like cricket in West Indies or how things are becoming in Pak where people already expect their team to lose.

Tbh, we are one team that can beat Aus on a good day. Other teams have mental baggage against them, we are not nearly as good but at least don't fear them.

B'desh are not beating anyone other than Pak

In think South Africa on back of De Klerk knock also beat us in recent  ICC odi world Cup. But that didnt stop Indian women to beat Australia and ultimately lift the trophy.
