Will be interesting to see if the other Asian teams also send full strength sides.

There was a rumour that Asian Games could serve as qualification event for Olympics, like in hockey.

If that is the case, everyone will send full strength squad.

Breaking...

India wicket-keeper KS Bharat has taken to social media to announce his retirement from international cricket.

Bharat retires having represented India at Test level on seven occasions, with his last appearance coming against England at Visakhapatnam in February 2024.

The 32-year-old retires with a total of 221 runs for India and 19 dismissals as keeper, with his highest score of 44 coming against Australia in Ahmedabad in 2023.

:isalute:

Why not give Bharat a retirement tour? These bilateral games are meaningless anyway.

About time we see multiple Indian teams in action on the same day, maybe even in different formats. Early morning test in MCG, a D/N ODI in Lanka and night T20 game against WI at home.

wtf is Sundar doing there? cant bat, field or bowl and unfit for T20s.

Is he a batsman or bowler? A test player of white ball player? Been around for almost a decade and I still can't figure out his role.

Terribly mishandled, and everyone suffers at the end of the day, including Sundar.

But same day will be a nice flex. We have a pool of players to make that happen.

Pooks have no series in that time period so guess they will send a full strength side as well
