Vaibhav's role is to give fast starts much like Sehwag did. Sehwag managed only 20 odd runs in the semi final at Mohali vs pakistan. But he thrashed one of the best bowler of the tournament for 5 fours in one over. We accepted Sehwag. Same way Vaibhav should be accepted. We are kinda expecting Sachin, Sehwag, Kohli rolled into one. He has to be aggressive, very consistent, bat long at the age of 15.

Yup! He scored 170+ in the u-19 WC final, and scored those back-to-back knocks in IPL playoffs. I'm expecting another big one from him

IMO SL A made a blunder. You never chase in a final and that too when you've beasts like Sooryavanshi as opponents. Unless there's dew or there's rain in the morning, you bat first, put up a score and let the scoreboard pressure work for you.

Sooryavanshi should bide his time in his first few overs. 50 overs is a lot of time and even if he takes 5 overs to get set, that's enough time to get his team to a 400+ total.
