Straight seam results in higher bounce, more swing but actually loses more pace off the wicket. Read Himanish Ganjoo's latest piece on pace and bounce of pitches. He's analysed the pitches. You have got it wrong. Edited June 17 by Nikhil_cric

Teams like Pakistan will be sitting ducks against extra bounce

vvvslaxman Posted June 17 Posted June 17 Kuldeep is having a good rythm. WHen in rhyhtm there is nobody remotely close to him in Indian cricket. India definitely needs a spin coach to make sure spinners don't lose it.

Lone Wolf Posted June 17 Posted June 17 Iyer is leading the side so far in Gill's absence and has been absymal. Not giving Gurnoor new ball, barely giving him a 3 over spell just when he was causing issues to Afghans. Doesn't look like a fast bowler's captain. Gill miles better tactically Nikhil_cric 1
