They could have easily sent someone else. Imagine Deepesh going there.. how huge it must have been for the kid. Aquib cannot improve beyond this level. He is pushing 30 already. Pace is dropping by the month. Absolute waste. Not sure BCCI has any role there. Anyone can sign up for any county. There is no limit there. Sai sudarshan, Prithvi shaw. More recently retired Agarwal has signed up.

CZ was playing Patidar, Saransh, Arshad..none of them did anything remotely worth noticing. Yet they all played coz they are part of some of the best cricketing academies owned by some powerful ex cricketers. express bowling 1

But nowadays IPL is be all end all. Only Karun Nair came back purely based on domestic stats.

I don't think any bowler like Gurnoor who with practically no experience after starting cricket late had a jump start like this. Part of national team selection, A tours, played ODis already with 0 IPL experience. Guys like Mavi, Tyagi, Nagarkoti nobody was fast tracked. tweaker 1

If Rajat Patidar cannot find a place in zonal team then something is wrong with system. He deserved to play there. Pitches in COE have to be examined. They all look the same. 300 was winning score. In past Duleep trophies were won based on first innings lead in some years. You need those wickets for batsmen to learn the art of scoring big runs.

They pick up an injury early anyway. Then they will have enough time to reucperate, come back stronger at the age of 22 or 23. That is how it should be. We cannot introduce bowlers at the age of 29 30 without many overs under belt. They will fall away very rapidly Manucrick 1

Getting county contract has always been reference thing. If your manager or someone from the county tm/team can refer a player they can be picked as lognas they have FC record. Think he is there for 3 games, if he performs then they can give him extended contract next season. Bcci is okay to give nocs for county there has never been any issue with county nocs. as its already in the county contract that they can leave if there is intnl assignment for the player

cricspirit Posted September 3 Posted September 3 I hope VS wins it for EZ. We have test team spots. No.5 will be perfect for VS after he gets bit more red ball experience. Pant can go down to No.6

After his return to ranji he is bowling this pace and got success because this kind of dibbly dobby pace really works at ranji level. Manucrick and express bowling 2

Arshad could be a hidden gem, he bowls quickish and gets good bounce, also can move the ball, hits the bat hard and is a left hander and and can bat as well. It is a pity our system will not identify and set aside talent like this guy. tweaker 1
