T. Dilip's departure imminent as BCCI opt against contract renewal

India fielding coach T Dilip is set to depart from his role after the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has decided not to renew his contract. Subhadeep Ghosh from the Centre of Excellence (CoE), who travelled with the Indian team to Zimbabwe as the fielding coach, is the front-runner to replace Dilip.

“Yes. His (Dilip’s) one-year extension has ended,” BCCI secretary Devajit Saikia told Cricbuzz, confirming the development. The recent series in England was his final assignment with the Indian team. Dilip could not be immediately contacted for his comments.

But another no-name guy will take his place, a guy who was our fielding coach in the Zim tour. 

 

Dilip should never have been brought back, CT 2025 was supposed to be his last assignment, we dropped 3-4 catches in that final as well.
