Atkinson is struggling on the same wickets. He did well in Pakistan too if i am right.  Probably will struggle when thre is no movement at all.

We have seen so many bowlers in the last 100 yeasr. elite bowlers in overly helpful conditions (especially south africans) where wickets would come on a dime. Even they couldn't do. So it is somewhat special.

He actually did well in Pakistan. The key issue with him has been his fitness.
