putrevus Posted August 20 Posted August 20 (edited) Indians have missed out beating these sorry ass Pakistanis in tests for last 20 years. I doubt they would have even been a single drawn test unless it was complete rainout. Edited August 20 by putrevus Manucrick and rollingstoned 2

Yeah brings LBW/bowled into the play. Batter can't afford a long stride, rooted to the crease. But you need the skill set of Boland, Henry type Wobble seam legends to be threatening all the time Manucrick 1
vvvslaxman Posted August 20 Posted August 20 This strategy is going to do two things. It takes a lot out of already trundilng bowlers. It will eliminate all the other types of dismissals. Manucrick 1

Generally such players are liked by all. Richie benaud was a big fan of Krish Srikkanth. These days, I'm starting to like him a little bit his T20 World Cup hundred against Pakistan was seriously impressive

SecondSlip Posted August 20 Posted August 20 This test match is the perfect example of why useless trundlers like Mukesh Kumar, Anshul Kamboj and Auqib Nabi should never play tests for India. Our team would be chasing leather all day just like how Pakistan is at the moment! @express bowling @tweaker @Mosher @Lone Wolf Lone Wolf, Sgattick10, express bowling and 3 others 2 4

But they don't have a choice Otoh Indians love their gentle medium Pacers and they shower all their praise for these Boobies, Mukesh, Undervutter Kamboj and now Aquib Nabi. Thank God they telecasted the practice game otherwise Aquib Nabi agenda was at an all time high in India. He was believed to be some mythical Glenn McGrath waiting to be unleashed. Same is the case with Rasikh Dar that these retarded RCB fans want him over Ashok Mayank Gurnoor in limited overs. Edited August 20 by Lone Wolf SecondSlip, Norman, express bowling and 1 other 4

Best bowler in this match is a trundler though lol Ollie Robinson. Probably had an average speed of 74 mph. You still need skill to sequence your deliveries. You need a bit of variety in your line up. They had Archer who did nothing in this match. But Tongue reaped rewards with his fast and full balls. Same with NZ. It is about variety nto allowing batsmen to settle down against one type of bowling.

A Trundler has to have a tall frame and actually have some skill that Robinson has developed which is the wobble seam and he does get extra bounce. Neither Kamboj, neither Nabi have any of those skillsets.

These bowlers are going to be average even if they add a few yards. It won't change. Same with Kamboj. Even if he bowls at 150k he will be average.
putrevus Posted August 20 Posted August 20 Robinson is Trundler but he has height and he can move ball both way and uses scrambled seam a lot. How many express bowlers have avg of 18 in England , Philander another Trundler did very well in England. The problem with Indian trundlers is their complete dependence on swing, Siraj was one guy who used to bowl with scrambled seam but he is now trying to become outswing bowler.
vvvslaxman Posted August 20 Posted August 20 This is one way traffic now. THey should score 500 and put them out of misery.
vvvslaxman Posted August 20 Posted August 20 Brooked by his standar looked like tuk tuking. Still going at run a ball. Generational talent.
