Texan Posted Sunday at 06:34 PM Posted Sunday at 06:34 PM I hope the women go with some banner messages calling out Trophy chor. BCCI had lots of time to figure this out so they should have planned something for this. Manucrick, nitinbwj and Lord 1 2

We should take trophy, not shake hands just do a namaste. Elected officials/ministers have absolutely nothing to do in Pak other than making some underhand money and showing up for photo ops. They have zero power.
cricspirit Posted Sunday at 06:41 PM Posted Sunday at 06:41 PM Amazing win. We were expected to win but we outplayed the opposition completely. Fielding issues and Harman remain.
New guy Posted Sunday at 07:10 PM Posted Sunday at 07:10 PM From cricbuzz - Not sure what’s happening, but the Indian team are still yet to receive their medals and trophy. At least, we haven’t been shown any live visuals of that happening. Presenter Farveez Maharoof calls a wrap on the presentation ceremony. Not quite sure what happened there, but we are sure to get more updates.
New guy Posted Sunday at 07:10 PM Posted Sunday at 07:10 PM I don't understand this though, he is the Asian chairman, so he is supposed to give the trophy. No idea what this is supposed to achieve Lord 1

Texan Posted Sunday at 07:15 PM Posted Sunday at 07:15 PM Naqvi crybaby at it again. Trophy chor is going to give the trophy to 55 all out humiliated team. Manucrick 1
Texan Posted Sunday at 07:16 PM Posted Sunday at 07:16 PM I don't understand this - BCCI had plenty of time to figure this out and they should have put their foot down here. Why did they allow the same situation to come up again? Manucrick and nitinbwj 1 1

He is the ACC chairman, he is supposed to give the trophy. If India has a problem with him being chairman then we should protest at the right forums instead of this juvenile, immature display of refusing to take the trophy from him. nitinbwj 1

cricspirit Posted Sunday at 07:29 PM Posted Sunday at 07:29 PM Remove Naqvi from Chairman post, or ask him to stay away from presentation. Why the hell this drama keeps going on. If India decides to abstain from Asia cup, then the tournament will die anyway. India were expected to win. BCCI should have definitely worked this out. Players work hard and win a cup but cant even collect their reward... nitinbwj 1
bowl_out Posted Sunday at 07:55 PM Posted Sunday at 07:55 PM This plain stupid. Devajit Saikia and Rajiv Shukla are seen chatting with Naqvi and a bunch of people on camera. But then we put this on players to not shake hands, receive trophies etc. Why put players in a spot when Shukla ji is having a good time with his old friends Manucrick 1

So rules should be changed because Indians need to behave childish? Would you be ok if it was the other way around? If pakistan or bangladesh behaved like children and said BCCI/ICC head cannot be at the world cup or cannot hand world cup trophies we should just nominate others? Rules should not be changed because some people behave like toddlers. There is a way and system to protest like adults Come on dude, we need to grow the F up as a nation. This does not in any way show us in a good light Edited Sunday at 08:22 PM by New guy Zero_Unit 1

Come on dude, we need to grow the F up as a nation. This does not in any way show us in a good light What rules are you talking about? It is the ACC Chairman's responsibility to ensure the event is conducted free of controversies. And yes, rules were changed in the past by ICC and BCCI to allow Pakistan team to play their matches outside India in the T20 World Cup. I can call Pakistan team's behavior there also as childish. Saftey reason was nonsensical - they are much safer in India than in their own country considering their crime record.
vvvslaxman Posted Sunday at 08:38 PM Posted Sunday at 08:38 PM It is uncomfortable watching women being forced to behave this way.
