Koi na, we will fix the team before the next World Cup, we will always stay a top T20 team. It’s the test team which is a worry, there has been a sharp decline in that format.

This team will settle down. Iyer who wasnt in the team is now the leader. Give him time and we will be fine. Worry is test cricket.

The fact that they played rookie team as well Ireland should not have even come close to winning let alone actually winning it comprehensively. We just let it drift. I always had this fear about Iyer who just cannot control bowlers leaking runs no matter which team he captains. Except KKR may be where Varun C and Narine did the job.

They thought they would turn up and blast Ireland like they did in Dublin in past without knowing Belfast is different.

Krishna and Sundar had no idea and neither Shreyas about dimensions of the ground and we gifted them sixes down the ground which had shorter boundary.

Irish didn't allow us to hit even 1 straight six and all our players were caught in cow corner slogging.

 

Iyer made similar mistakes in England, we at least should have won Manchester T20.  4-0 could have been 3-1 at the minimum.  He is a very average captain tactically

Test side will take time, ind lost 4/5 test players in no time with no players in the pipe-line. There was no plan to develop the replacements.

 

It will take time to figure and find-out the player, even if the top ranji performers are selected they will need time to develop the did is expected, the issue here is the selection based on ipl. one part of it is because they do not want to try ranji players as they do not want to pick players and find out they can not handle intnl opp. they are thinking if time is to be invested lets do it on IPL players this may shorten the development time for the players.

 

Issue here is Odi side, it looks like its stalling , no player who can provide any inpetus lost 3 out of 5 Odi series since the ct and they are playing with near full strength side atleast have all the batters in the side

Security situation in Pak is very bad... It's a loosely held state. failed Marshal can't handle another IK supporters uprising.

He briefly touched up on how pakistan loss cannot be compared with India/SA loss to Ireland and namibia directly. He was explicitly asked which regime is the best ever. He mentioned about couple of phases.
