They have lost to netherlands in world cup. India was on sn unprecedented losing streak once the leadership was changd Koi na, we will fix the team before the next World Cup, we will always stay a top T20 team. It’s the test team which is a worry, there has been a sharp decline in that format. Edited September 4 by Sandz

Losing Odis series is bigger cause of concern The looks jaded and stalling , right now batting does not give much confidence. Its becoming same monotone batting line-up which can not score above par scores and who are the wkt takers ?? I don't care if we never win another T20. We have also dominated. Was no.1 ranked side from 2022 until we lost to England.
Suhaan Posted September 4 Posted September 4 Odi side is at its weakest phase, atleast 4-5 members don't deserve a place singhvivek141, tapandrun and Need4Speed 3

INdia won with poor form Bumrah and without pandya in Asia cup final. We opened with Dube in Asia cup final. India could have won both matches vs Ireland. The second one we practically gifted it to them. Don't think players were interested in playing in Ireland in the first place. Even Afghans routed Irish. Vs Eng we were outplayed against a superior side.

The fact that they played rookie team as well Ireland should not have even come close to winning let alone actually winning it comprehensively. We just let it drift. I always had this fear about Iyer who just cannot control bowlers leaking runs no matter which team he captains. Except KKR may be where Varun C and Narine did the job.

They thought they would turn up and blast Ireland like they did in Dublin in past without knowing Belfast is different. Krishna and Sundar had no idea and neither Shreyas about dimensions of the ground and we gifted them sixes down the ground which had shorter boundary. Irish didn't allow us to hit even 1 straight six and all our players were caught in cow corner slogging. Iyer made similar mistakes in England, we at least should have won Manchester T20. 4-0 could have been 3-1 at the minimum. He is a very average captain tactically

Worry is test cricket. Test side will take time, ind lost 4/5 test players in no time with no players in the pipe-line. There was no plan to develop the replacements. It will take time to figure and find-out the player, even if the top ranji performers are selected they will need time to develop the did is expected, the issue here is the selection based on ipl. one part of it is because they do not want to try ranji players as they do not want to pick players and find out they can not handle intnl opp. they are thinking if time is to be invested lets do it on IPL players this may shorten the development time for the players. Issue here is Odi side, it looks like its stalling , no player who can provide any inpetus lost 3 out of 5 Odi series since the ct and they are playing with near full strength side atleast have all the batters in the side jf1gp_1 1

If Osman lives in Pakistan..?.. then he can't directly question Naqvi as it's practically death sentence to question the puppet regime.. neither you can support IK as Ramiz Raja was also uncomfortable when Bumble and Vaughan asked him about IK. It's a mild version of North Korea, their media blatantly lies non stop 24×7 and is practically a Government mouthpiece. I don't think things were even this bad during Gen Musharraf's time. It's a dystopian scenario.. their Players both current and former are just helpless and powerless

Cabo verde with a population of 5.5L reached football world cup. This 'bahut talent hai' argument has no standing. Every country has talent its always about making the most of it.
G_B_ Posted September 5 Posted September 5 What a clown. Neither india nor sa made changes mid series.
