The Outsider Posted March 2, 2009 Author Posted March 2, 2009 Pray tell me ' date=' how can a drafter have a signature thread ! Can you name a signature Collingwood innings ?[/quote'] Probably not, but I can name at least 5 signature innings from grafter Gavaskar.
Mr. Wicket Posted March 2, 2009 Posted March 2, 2009 Can you name a signature Collingwood innings ? 7 at the Oval in 2005. He got an MBE for it. :--D
The Outsider Posted March 2, 2009 Author Posted March 2, 2009 7 at the Oval in 2005. He got an MBE for it. :--D And became a class act after it.
SachDan Posted March 9, 2009 Posted March 9, 2009 Gritty innings from Kallis today. Infact all their batsmen applied themselves well and made sure they are in with a chance of saving this test. Big question is can Kallis and DeVilliers weather the storm tomorrow morning as Aussies will start with the new ball straight away.
zubinpepsi Posted March 9, 2009 Posted March 9, 2009 the sickfecks r back again to jinx the great man.....
Ram Posted March 9, 2009 Posted March 9, 2009 the sickfecks r back again to jinx the great man..... Whats wrong in being expectant about a player’s performance? Off late, the ‘jinx group’ has had lot of field days here in ICF, hijacking and destroying many threads with great potential. Would you guys please stop this jinxing BS and allow the discussion to continue properly?
King Tendulkar Posted January 5, 2011 Posted January 5, 2011 Signature match he has had. But it will be rendered worthless by critics if India get draw as it was not in winning cause. Just shows how useless the stat on runs/tons scored in winning causes is!
coffee_rules Posted January 5, 2011 Posted January 5, 2011 Was just 2 runs away from 500 runs in the series. Damn Morkel and TsoTso.
Ram Posted January 5, 2011 Posted January 5, 2011 Forget signature, he played a 'Govt. SEAL' innings. :((
f.b.m Posted January 5, 2011 Posted January 5, 2011 Whats wrong in being expectant about a player’s performance? Off late, the ‘jinx group’ has had lot of field days here in ICF, hijacking and destroying many threads with great potential. Would you guys please stop this jinxing BS and allow the discussion to continue properly? This was a while ago but well said. I find the whole jinxing thing quite annoying and of course completely pointless.
King Tendulkar Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 The innings mean nothing as it was only in drawn encounter.:giggle:
bhanu Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 so in 2009 he had 8000 runs n now in 3 years he got 12000. What a player :hatsoff:
adi B Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 so in 2009 he had 8000 runs n now in 3 years he got 12000. What a player :hatsoff: egjactly :hatsoff:
tothepoint Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 Somebody should create threads on his signature spells as well.. Robbie from cricinfo says : "How can Kallis still be bowling at 140K's - Even the great fastbowlers in there mid 35's couldn't do it. he is not Human, surely one of the greatest players ever. " And as I write, Kallis has taken another sharp catch at second slip
