vvvslaxman
Consistency is very vital. Raina despite his problem against short ball, despite playing thankless role (accelerating at the death) is more consistent than this Rohit Sharma. Link to comment

Coach/Captain shd have set him challenges /targets because he doesnt seem like a self motivated run hungry kinda guy. Though I feel he is not upto it at present. May be he will be a late bloomer like Hayden. Even Laxman started scoring consistently when he was arnd 27/28. Link to comment
youngindia
Tendulkar played many important inns in those first 70 matches . this kind of shallow analysis is a put off. the point is maturity comes stage by stage. just because you suffer a sophomore slump, that does n't mean you are a late bloomer. rohit is on track. hayden made a one day debut in 1993,failed quite mutiple times and finally established in 2001 in india. players differ in the rate of maturity.it depends on a case by case basis. graphic23
1. He's extremely unfit. 2. Spends no time at the wicket. 3. Airy drives != class. Link to comment
Clarke
Rohit Sharma who ? I'd rather have Irfan Pathan in my squad, a decent batsman and a useful fifth bowler to say the least. Link to comment
The Dark Horse
I'd not waste another hard working youngster's opportunity having Rohit Sharma. Noone will ever get the numerous opportunities that he has enjoyed/wasted. I'd rather have a Pujara/Vijay/Kohli. Link to comment

Cricketics
He has everything in him to be an international cricketer. He is one of the most elegant players which there are not enough on this planet. He is one of those rare ones who has that class in him. He is special, but he has to make it count by improving his temperament. The longer he stays on crease, the more he will average Link to comment

graphic23
Meh. Rohit's been given enough chances. He has a mediocre record apart from his form in 2008 March. He's failed quite badly, with the # of chances he's got. It's a shame that Kohli is not being given a run or doesn't get selected as often as he deserves to. Link to comment
flamy
^ I know, dude. Kohli has got it so tough so far. How the feck is Jadeja in the team. Kohli can bowl too (for T20s atleast :P) and is an awesome fielder Link to comment
