When was our expectation raised to such levels? - When Sachin 'happened' to Indian cricket that we can win in any situation - with authority. (Sorry Kapil-83 - but we came to our level after 83 ). Its all Sachin's fault, had he not have happened to Indian cricket, we would have happily lived blissfully ever after in our ignorant world.

Are these guys so bad? I mean 2 wkts down and you wanna be steady. When you are losing 2-3 wkts in first 3 overs that means there is something in the wkt. On the very good wkt, these guys dance like puppies. That is where greatness shows up. Anyways, it was mere ODI against two weak teams. So lets move on.

cowboysfan Posted June 22, 2010 Posted June 22, 2010 wow,we have fallen a long way from our test no1 high for people to start such threads.all the blame lies squarely with the bowlers and to a lesser extent with Kirsten and BCCI for not improving on such an Achilles heel to our team with some great batsmen.the bowlers have infact regressed terribly after Kirsten took over.

The only time we bucked the trend was in the Compaq Cup last year, because of a brilliant SRT century but there is no SRT to save us from the inevitable on Thursday :((
