Gunner_Mania
Except while batting you dont think about wicket keeping or captaincy... and why is that? If you are a captain the captaincy is always on the back of your mind whether you are in the field or batting. If you are chasing, then you have spent 50 overs keeping wickets rather than fielding every other over. So as a wicket keeper & a captain you are more likely to be mentally fatigued when batting then otherwise. Link to comment

Karan114
Well done to Hussey who is a fine ODI batsman, but make no mistake, MSD will put you back in second place very soon! :) Link to comment

I dont think a captain feels additional pressure while batting. Agree that keeping wicket is tougher task than fielding but dont think it makes any difference to batting. Link to comment
flamy
Like I said' date=' Hussey is Aussie's best batman. Somebody was laughing at me for saying that, I dont remember who :hitler:[/quote'] It was Thaleel  Link to comment

thevortex
:wall: But props to hussey, he'd been written off and he came back well :congrats: Actually Hussey's problems have been in Test match cricket where he has not been able to match his prolific initial form in recent days. There is no doubting though that Hussey is a top drawer player and a vital one if Australia is to again climb the road to the top. Link to comment
Bradman99
Hussey is a great one day player, always has been. Maybe he has dropped off a bit in tests (although he has been better lately), but he's still great in one dayers. Anyone know where you can see the full rankings ? Link to comment
