riya Posted February 10, 2010 Posted February 10, 2010 It actually depends. Sometimes if the loss is very bad, or hurts a lot, I would detach myself from cricket for a few days. However lately since India has been winning more than ever, losses don't hurt that much. Same with me.Depends on the intensity of the match.
dial_100 Posted February 10, 2010 Posted February 10, 2010 Well... these days I dont have to worry about losing as much cuz we hardly lose any. So when we do, I feel excited that next match is going to be truely entertaining... I am looking forward to Calcultta now... RD, VVS are going to be back..

Cricketics Posted February 10, 2010 Posted February 10, 2010 I remember when i was in India, the game used to be coming usually on two channels, one star sports and one on dd metro. First priority was always watching on star sports, but when team would start losing wickets, I would switch to DD metro coverage and would stick to it even though it was very hazy unwatchable coverage sometimes. If team would start doing bad again on dd metro, then i would go back to star sports. I would continue to play this game of changing channels every now and then. My dad or brother used to ask why I am not watching on star sports when it's better one to watch clarity and quality wise, I would answer that "It's not coming. I called cable waala and he is trying to fix it." They would never know why I didn't want that particular channel.

achilles Posted February 10, 2010 Posted February 10, 2010 ... I simply pwn the opposition in Cricket07 or ICC, bowl a few bouncers et al :two_thumbs_up:
Rajiv Posted February 11, 2010 Posted February 11, 2010 When chips are down and if I am recording the game then... Shut the TV 1) Next Day - ffwd the game with Variable Speeds depending on the sound of the crowd by turning the face the other way, if it was a roar - then rew a bit then look at the TV to get the LIVE feeling 2) If not Recording, next day - open Cricnfo with one eye closed and put my left hand on the screen so I dont read the Headline and find my way to the scorecard link and then click on the commentary tab - drag the page down and read the proceedings slowly Above can be in a combo if commentary was good, I will ffwd the game to that point and watch that over and continue on ============ I know - I am fked up
Shane Posted February 11, 2010 Posted February 11, 2010 You are not alone, atleast on the second one, I do it till I reach the scorecard, without reading the headline.
