Dark Warrior Posted May 10, 2011 Posted May 10, 2011 Inglorious Basterds were fulltoo timepass movie :nice: Girls please stick to DDLJ and KKHH :agree:
ZodiaC Posted May 10, 2011 Posted May 10, 2011 Inglorious basters kicks ass. Slightly overrated, but still highly enjoyable if you like tarantinoesque movies.
kubrickian Posted May 10, 2011 Posted May 10, 2011 I think Basterds is Tarantino's most accessible film compared to Pulp Fiction where most of the conversations veer off into pop culture references and seemingly dont have anything to do with the plot but they all serve a purpose. I feel most of the scenes in Basterds work in a conventional dramatic way. If you like dialogue driven movies, you will love Inglourious Basterds. I have the Zwartboek DVD but I havent seen the whole movie yet but I checked out a few scenes if you get what I mean. :winky: Carice Van Houten B->
EnterTheVoid Posted May 10, 2011 Posted May 10, 2011 Inglorious bastards sucked penguin balls. Too much talking and not enough killing nazis
Guest Shivani Posted May 10, 2011 Posted May 10, 2011 Erin Brockovich looked so unrealistic.. but then its based on true events. 7/10 :nice:
nikred Posted May 10, 2011 Posted May 10, 2011 I quite enjoyed Basterds as a good time pass movie definitely not a masterpiece. But the best thing coming out of the movie was Christoph Waltz. He was awesome. :two_thumbs_up:
jaggadaku Posted May 10, 2011 Posted May 10, 2011 Christoph Waltz was epic and that German officer in the bar scene was equally menacing
diegovegaz Posted May 11, 2011 Posted May 11, 2011 ip man 1 and 2 were brilliant, 3 not that interesting

Mariyam Posted May 12, 2011 Posted May 12, 2011 Fast Five is a fun ride. Leave your brain at the home and enjoy it!! What brain??? :haha: Fast n Furious 5 Rio 7/10. Fast paced happening movie. Love Vin Diesel's voice. Its a tragedy that he doesn't have many dialogues. The ending was botched up though.

The ending was botched up though. Vin Diesel has a good screen presense. I guess, because his acting is nothing to write home about, the directors don't try to put too much pressure on him by giving him too many dialogs. I think the fast and furious style works well for him.
Guest Shivani Posted May 12, 2011 Posted May 12, 2011 My cousin vinny - more than vinny i liked his gf :two_thumbs_up:
Prakat Posted May 13, 2011 Posted May 13, 2011 ^ Awesome movie! Vinny: Ms. Vito, you're supposed to be some kinda expert in automobiles, is that correct? Is that correct? Judge Haller: Would you please answer the counselor's question? Lisa: No, I hate him. Vinny: Your Honor, may I ask your permission to treat Ms Veto as a hostile witness? Mona Lisa: You think I'm hostile now? Wait till you see me tonight. Judge Haller: Do you two know each other? Vinny: Yeah, she's my fiancée. Judge Haller: Well, that would certainly explain the hostility. :cantstop:
