:icflove: I liked it too. But it wasn't even comparable to Ready or Bodyguard which were pure entertainers and 10/10 movies. Salman tried to be sensible in ETT, but from him that's OTT behaviour. His forte lies in making superhits out of movies which don't have scripts or story lines. He should stick to that. my rating 7/10
Thanks for recommending-now I know not to watch it definitely!!!!

Salman Khan is the true superstar of the time. His presence alone can guarantee a blockbuster, no matter how *****y the movie is. Even SRK can't do it.

Yeap, Bodyguard sure was entertaining. Be sue to leave your brain at home before watching any Salman Khan movie and you are good to go!
After effects of watching Bodyguard? :P Sree, come on now, we can't have you besmirching the reputation of our superstar every now and then. Hadn't you mentioned sometime earlier that Hindi isn't your strongest suit? I attribute your poor rating of the movie to your lack of Hindi skills. The subtitled version lacks the gravitas of the original version. With the subtitled version you lose out on the many extremely philosophical and thought provoking scenes that can be appreciated only when you follow the movie in Hindi.

Haven't you seen Dabbang? Sample this dialogue: "Hud hud hud dabbang dabbang dabbang dabbang" It is poignant and philosophical at once. It makes you wonder why the universe was created and the purpose of our existence and also makes you marvel at the Shakespeare-esque prose and rhyme.

His only half decent movie in the last 10 years was Dabangg, it was so lame yet had something funny in it. Ready, bodyguard etc were pure garbage, reminds me the way I used play chor sipahi with my cousins during school holidays. Very childish story , terrible screenplay and pathetic acting. Lets see what Ek tha tiger brings, as for Katrina .. oh well :icflove:

Watched Ea Tha Tiger. Enjoyable movie, if you are ready to overlook the obvious faults and concentrate on the one thing that makes the movie so great - Katrina Kaif, her smile and her curves. For those who love spy movies, here is a tip: Convince yourself that Salman Khan and the other Indian and Pakistani spies are actually not spies but Indian beat constables. They do nothing spy-like in the whole movie. When they have to assassinate a high-priority target, they don't put snipers on rooftops with a quiet exit strategy, but they send a bunch of goons to gang-up and beat the guy to death (yeah, not shoot or stab or stealthily strangle or snap the neck in a split-second, just beat him to a pulp is the only strategy they know. So, if you can ignore these idiotic flaws, it's cool.

Have you seen "Battle Royale"' date=' the Japanese movie? Hunger games seems like a poor copy of that movie[/quote'] Hunger Games is originally a book series so it is obvious that they will have similarities.

MTC, Not seen Battle Royale, but have heard of it and that it is quite good. Not read the books either, I imagine they are better than the film...Film has had good reviews and is an ok story, and well acted...sets etc and realisation of the 'post apocalyptic world' of sorts is good if not spectacular...Jennifer Lawrence does her job quite well, was wondering where Id seen her and had to Wiki her- she is Mystique in X Men First Class...
