SLICKR392 Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 Kahaani - top class! :nice: Bhaag! :whack: Sabko bakra bana diya.
maniac Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 Did you seriously expected Khiladi to be good? I was saying why to watch those movies in the first place :dontknow:
Sooda Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 Disappointed with Looper ending. Hyped movie, the movie was not that great How will the younger looper know that rainmaker kid doesn't turn out to be bad when he grows up. The mom can still die and with nobody else taking care of that kid, he can still turn out to be a bad one. Stupid ending, IMO. Hm, thats not THAT stupid. Youre right he does not know for sure, but what he does know for sure is that his older self killing the kids mom WILL set him off on to the path to becoming the Rainmaker with no mum to guide him. So he sacrifices himself. Thought it was a great movie

Asim Posted January 23, 2013 Posted January 23, 2013 why? Did you seriously expected Khiladi to be good? I was saying why to watch those movies in the first place :dontknow: "rowdy rathore" was at least good time-pass, its not even that...
Mariyam Posted January 23, 2013 Posted January 23, 2013 "rowdy rathore" was at least good time-pass' date=' its not even that...[/quote'] :D Your ratings are very precise. 2.25/10. Please share your calculations with us. I agree with you about the movie, though. It was a meh movie. But atleast the songs are hummable. Khiladi786>Son of Sardaar>Rowdy Rathore for me.

OK my Rating calculation formula is: [(10 - '0.5 to 2' for each downside)+(0 + '0.5 to 2' for each brightside)]/2 :D Thanks God it stayed >0 :winky: For me Rowdy Rathor > Son of sardar & Dabang 2 > xyz > Khiladi 786 though doesnt mean I 'liked' Rowdy Rathore but it was a better time-pass than others of this new Bollywood HIT genre i.e. "nonsense action+lame comedy"... btw u missed Dabang2, Im sure for you it will b > All of above? :winky:
surajmal Posted January 24, 2013 Posted January 24, 2013 Rudy and October Sky. Never get tired of watching these 2. Great pick me up movies.
Precambrian Posted January 24, 2013 Posted January 24, 2013 Hm' date=' thats not THAT stupid. DomainK Posted January 24, 2013 Posted January 24, 2013 Finally watched Argo. Something great about the movie - there are many Americans in the film but no one once called Iran as I'ran. That must have taken some extraordinary effort.
SLICKR392 Posted January 24, 2013 Posted January 24, 2013 Why couldn't he have just shot the older chap and then lived happily ever after with the kid and the mother? I would have done anything to live with that mother
Sooda Posted January 24, 2013 Posted January 24, 2013 Why couldn't he have just shot the older chap and then lived happily ever after with the kid and the mother? Hmmmmmm.... I dont know ! I think maybe because the same cycle might have repeated itself when he got older?? so he woul,d have found himself coming back as B Willis and trying to kill that kid anyway..
coffee_rules Posted January 24, 2013 Posted January 24, 2013 Hmmmmmm.... I dont know ! I think maybe because the same cycle might have repeated itself when he got older?? so he woul' date='d have found himself coming back as B Willis and trying to kill that kid anyway.. [/spoiler'] He tried to do that, but they showed BW was always one step ahead of him, he could feel what the younger looper thinks. Looper shld have killed the kid, convinced the mom to sleep with him and make a few more babies and lived ever after. Older looper would vanish after sometime anyway
Sooda Posted January 24, 2013 Posted January 24, 2013 ^ LOL. Indeed. Emily Blunt I watched 'Les Miserables' yesterday. It is ok, long and does try the patience. But well acted, well made and the singing is surprinsgly good. Even Crowe was ok...
maniac Posted January 24, 2013 Posted January 24, 2013 Zero Dark Thirty-Terrific movie Now that's the way you make a Historical/Political thriller....Very well researched RamGopla Varma's 26/11 is going to be a joke compared to this eventhough probably he had more access to confidential/classified information than Kathryn Bigelow did
maniac Posted January 24, 2013 Posted January 24, 2013 ^Also to add the lead actress is a serious Oscar contender.....terrific performance
