NareshK Posted March 30, 2013 Posted March 30, 2013 Even 5 year olds would make better films than Sajid Khan.
The Outsider Posted March 30, 2013 Posted March 30, 2013 Matru Ki Bijlee ki Mandola... It had an interesting premise for a story but attempts at humour were lame and ruined it. Surprisingly dissapointing from bharadwaj Overacting central. Imran and Anoushka are not actors. Mere models who mouth off dialogues. Really lame movie. Completely agree. Am a huge fan of Vishal Bhardwaj. In fact he is the only Bollywood artist whose movies I make it a point to watch. But Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola was a huge disappointment and largely because two out of the three protagonists could not act at all. I wasn't expecting this at all because even though Priyanka Chopra is a pretty ordinary actor, Bhardwaj got good work out of her in Saat Khoon Maaf. First Bhardwaj movie which left me disappointed.
CandyFloss Posted March 30, 2013 Posted March 30, 2013 Jolly LLB: 7/10 What i like: The use of words and phrases like ladyship, prima facie, etc. They pointed out that media reports are not admissible in courts Defence objecting to producing witness without prior notice Top shot lawyers having hot shot juniors and interns, very true! District Court bar Office of the top shot senior counsel, excellent What i dislike: PIL is not filed in district courts  PIL...Trial procedure? State vs. that guy... PIL is filed AGAINST the state, state is not the petitioner that eye witness (who gives the gorakhpur clue) says "ek din ki mazdoori ka paisa kaun dega" but generally the witness is paid for everyday that the witness is required in court. Boman threatens the Judge he ll complain against the Judge before Bar Council...silly but yeah..over all nice film
Lord Posted March 30, 2013 Posted March 30, 2013 yeah Jolly LLB has nice intent, but poor execution.script and screenplay are bad.actors are good though specially Boman and Saurabh Shukla
CandyFloss Posted March 30, 2013 Posted March 30, 2013 Yeah...poor research :orderorder: Boman was impeccable. The way he was arguing in the court..almost like a real senior lawyer.
Lord Posted March 30, 2013 Posted March 30, 2013 Watched 'Talaash' and 'Khiladi786' both pathetic.dissapointing from Aamir
SLICKR392 Posted March 30, 2013 Posted March 30, 2013 Yeah...poor research :orderorder: Boman was impeccable. The way he was arguing in the court..almost like a real senior lawyer. Use the spoiler tag. :poink:
vvvslaxman Posted March 30, 2013 Posted March 30, 2013 Saw the movie Stephen King's Thinner (1987).. Much like recently released Drag me to hell. Ending kinda disappointed me. Premises is interesting though. Lawyer hits a gypsy lady and kills him. Judge another guy helps the lawyer get away. But the father of the woman he killed her puts a curse on all 3 guys. The lawyer is a fat guy. He gets a curse of thinning. He keeps getting thinner and thinner at alarming rate.. Movie goes on from there.
gaurav92 Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 Gonna watch a few Hitchcock's classics - Vertigo, Strangers on a train and Psycho in this week
suraj Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 X-Men: First class A must- see; what an awesome movie :two_thumbs_up::two_thumbs_up:
Sooda Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 Watched 'Talaash' and 'Khiladi786' both pathetic.dissapointing from Aamir Talaash is a good film!
Lord Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 Talaash is a good film! expected much better from Aamir.story is weak and it is too slow
Sidhoni Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 Finally watched Talaash - 6/10 It was really slow. And because I knew the twist already, I was just watching to see how Reema Kagti build it up and hence disappointed me more because apart from last half an hour the movie lacks pace.
SLICKR392 Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 Talaash is a good film! Rip off from different movies.
game_changerr Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 Darna mana and zaroori are made by ramu not by sajid darna zarrori hai has six stories,,,,first story(in which tat fat guy goes to watch movie at night,,,and he thinks a witch is following him but actually it was coins in his packet)was directed by sajid khan,,,,,,both movies produced by ramu though
adi B Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 watched -goal 2 living the dream, bakwaas movie, chicks were hot but overall pretty dross and they shouldnt have picked arsenal for the finals because of their non existent european glories
Holysmoke Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 Saw 12 angry men. What a movie. Def deserves to be in the top 10 movies of all time as rated by imdb and all...
DomainK Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 Snake eyes: Nicholas Cage is brilliant in the movie. There is a very long shot in the beginning without a cut and Cage is superb in that.
