It was a weird green movie for me but since everybody liked it, I had to watch it. Saw it on iTunes via Apple TV and it was awesome. Finally I understood it and all day today I was thinking about "what if" lol Seriously, what if....?

So many cool fights and that bridge sequence is still mind blowing about 10 years on Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, is very good. Tense, and excellent in cinema.

It also changed the face of actions films in Hollywood. It was and still a phenomenal film on all counts. Second and third parts are not that great, but The Matrix is all about first part. All I knew was they are using dream world to shoot the cool fight scenes. :giggle: BUT, when I watched Inception, something came to my mind that this movie is suspiciously similar to Matrix at the basic template. Then I watched Matrix in HD again. Man, at that time the first Matrix movie is wayy superioir than Inception. Be it the story, acting, the various tints they used, the action, music, philosophy. In short the first Matrix movies beats Inception in a huge margin. And they did 8 yrs before Inception. Not taking any credit from Inception, it's a great movie on it's own. But when comes to Matrix vs Inception, I would rate Matrix better. Part 2 and 3 are a bit overloaded, but they are still awesome if u watch multiple times. :two_thumbs_up: Anybody who has read even a little bit about maya would find nothing imagintive in inception. It looked like a bad attempt to look smart. Matrix was first of its kind. A milestone. Amazing. Inception is an amazing piece of imagination. Both are as significant in their own place. True. The problem with Inception is that they left too many questions unexplained. Except for the last scene. The climax is aptly unexplained, which is a fitting ending for the viewer's perception but there are lot of other things which spoilt the movie for me in second watch. Where as Matrix is simply getting better every time I watch. Matrix actually acknowleges the concept of Maya and Indian mythological belifs. Have a look at the scenes that involve an Indian couple (Rama and Kamala) and their daughter Sati. The Matrix is one of the best science fiction films of all time. Saw it twice, once in IMAX and a week later at a drive in. I think the movie is 20 mins too long but nice done.
