Shwetabh' date=' I feel and in fact, share your frustration. However, I ask you to look away and focus on other things in life. As the leader of this board, you may have to contemplate steering the board away from cricket itself, which is clearly a much-sullied and discredited sport. Some would say it's not a sport at all.[/quote'] Dhondy, my postings over the last 6-8 months have been pretty irregular anyways - the biggest hit my enthusiasm took was the lukewarm response to Laxman's century in the 4th innings against Sri Lanka. Our old friend Rahul and I just talked about the innings over the phone for more than an hour! There might be the odd Bradman topic which might encite my attention, or some scandal like this, but besides that it has been the obligatory logging on in the morning, approving new members, checking everything is fine in the admin forum, and glancing for topics and posts which have some bite. There aren't many like those, so again the obligatory 15-30 minutes of trying to stir up some meaningful debates and discussions whether through an OP or an ungli in one of the existing threads. Phorumbaazi mein ab woh maza nahin raha, but there is no way that I am going to play a role in letting this place die down. Itna bada bhi CEO nahin hoon kahin ka that I can't spare half hour per day for this place. Then there are times when you, Bumper, Ravi etc. post and I feel the effort is not completely wasted or when I see varun and Ludh making one kick ass feature after another for the site.

this isn't the first time for this very tour actually. Before the first test against Aussies, mahaan test kaptaan Shahid Afridi commented on Younis Khan's lack of discipline as a reason for his absence in the squad :whatchutalkingabout

Afridi blasts Hameed, says he is mentally 15 Press Trust Of India London, September 06, 2010 Yasir Hameed might have backtracked on allegations of match-fixing against his Pakistan teammates but the side's captain Shahid Afridi is still livid with the opener and has ridiculed him as being mentally a teenager. :hysterical:Afridi, who has apologised for the 'spot-fixing' scandal involving Pakistani "Yasir Hameed is about 30 or 31 - but mentally he is 15 or 16," Afridi said. :hysterical::hysterical: "People know the type of character he is. We have known him for a long time and we know what to expect from him. He has done this sort of thing many times. Is he unreliable? Well, he is sitting with someone he does not know and gives these messages out, so, yes. "I don't know who he was sitting with or in what situation he gave this message," he added. In the video of a sting operation carried out by the News of the World, Hameed had claimed that almost every match Pakistan played was fixed. But he later went back on the statement, saying that he was tricked and later blackmailed to stand by the remarks. Afridi, who led Pakistan in Sunday's Twenty20 match against England which the visitors lost, said he has told his players not to read newspapers. "It was a relief to be playing again. Even though it was not a perfect performance. All the allegations are history now and until the ICC completes their investigations and it is all before us, we don't want to talk about it," he said. http://www.hindustantimes.com/Afridi-blasts-Hameed-says-he-is-mentally-15/H1-Article1-596610.aspx
