Dinx - the Jinx Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 Not a word for word translation but close enough (original story is in Telugu) --- ---- News anchor at the beginning --- Australia, Team India are playing in a "sledge better than you" fashion. Thats why whenever these two teams play, there is always an incident. In the current ongoing test in Mohali, Zaheer Khan teased ("made him cry" is the word - word translation) Australian captain 'Ricky Ponting' --- cuts to footage ---- The matches India play against Australia are quite fun ('maazaa'). Because, when these two teams play, not only they play, but they abuse each other with whatever obscenities come to mind. During the previous tour to Australia ('08), Harbhajan Singh got into a fight with all rounder Andrew Symonds. Two years ago, when the Australian team came to India, there was another fight/quarrel. Taunting Australian bowler Shane Watson, Gautham Gamhir 'ribbed' him. In the ongoing test at Mohali, the quarrels between the two teams did not cease. When Ricky Ponting was looking set for a century, Raina ran him out with a "super" direct hit. After seeing the replay and realizing that he was out, Ponting, getting very agitated was teased by Indian bowler fast bowler 'Zaheer Khan' on his way to the pavillion. Arrogant/"pissed off" Ponting looked back and was getting ready for possible fight. At that moment, umpire Billy Bowden got involved and sent Ponting away (back to the pavilion). At the same time, Zaheer gesticulated Ponting head towards the pavilion. How seriously these two teams are taking this series is encapsulated in this moment. ----- story ends ---- pattadu, guddhadu, ichadu, etc.. isnt int disrespectful? like harbhajhan vandhan, gambhir kuthunaan etc?
Rajiv Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 Besides the Zaheer Sledge, there is ROI vs South Sledge goin on in this thread
Laaloo Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 Majority of the Australians or the Indians don't have a problem with this. It's only the homeless pakis who have a problem with this.
Sachinism Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 How about deleting such comments MOD for change. ??? Use the reporting feature in stead of complaining in the thread
Andy Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 Majority of the Australians or the Indians don't have a problem with this. It's only the homeless pakis who have a problem with this. :two_thumbs_up:
Sachinism Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 Match referee Chris Broad summoned Zaheer at the end of the day's play and had a word with him but according to team official Mayank Parikh, it was just a "friendly interaction" and there was no official caution or fine as such. http://cricketnext.in.com/news/zaheer-summoned-after-ponting-clash/50866-13.html
Manny_Pacquiao Posted October 1, 2010 Author Posted October 1, 2010 Majority of the Australians or the Indians don't have a problem with this. It's only the homeless pakis who have a problem with this. lmao the jehadi chewthiyas have a problem with everything
99.94 Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 We need this man to unsettle Ozzies :two_thumbs_up: Bahaha. Man I hope he plays next match.
Rajiv Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 Besides the Zaheer Sledge' date=' there is ROI vs South Sledge goin on in this thread[/quote'] We need this man to unsettle Ozzies :two_thumbs_up: ^ his face alone is a sledge. :king::king::king::king:
EnterTheVoid Posted October 2, 2010 Posted October 2, 2010 pattadu, guddhadu, ichadu, etc.. isnt int disrespectful? like harbhajhan vandhan, gambhir kuthunaan etc? The word - word translation is vulgar, I agree, but I think those choice of words were chosen deliberately.
Ravi. Posted October 2, 2010 Posted October 2, 2010 Lol One good news is that pissant is injured and wont play in 2nd test match.
Bradman99 Posted October 2, 2010 Posted October 2, 2010 It was nothing. ZK merely told him what the way was to dressing room. Aussies need to man up. Ponting is rattled already, good work zaky Haha like to see what you would say if it was an Aussie player doing that to an Indian! So hypocritical.
gaurav92 Posted October 2, 2010 Posted October 2, 2010 This wasn't a big issue. These things do happen in Cricket. In all fairness, Zak shouldn't have done that, but hey it wasn't a major incident, it was just in the mix of the battle, this shows the passion of cricketers playing this series, very competitive in every department :D

Absolutely needless. Then when the ban is given, you will come and feel sad about it. Better he learns to keep away from this crap.

Yes as i said in the match thread, it was a needless thing to do especially when he was walking disappointed in missing out on another magical Three figure mark, and the gap is increasing considerably as Goddy ain't missing a single opportunity. So Zak went over the line clearly, had it been on our player, i am sure reactions from people would have been a lot different :P
Guest Gunner Posted October 2, 2010 Posted October 2, 2010 Haha like to see what you would say if it was an Aussie player doing that to an Indian! So hypocritical. As I was saying earlier today to one of the other posters, the real gangsters don't even play for Australia any more. If all it takes for these boys to get riled up is a team comprising Punter, pup and twatson, all I can say is sweet lord have mercy on them. If these guys got a mouthful from the Chappell brothers, Marxh, Lillee, thomo, Merv etc I reckon they would be crying for a year to their mothers. Many of these lads need to man up themselves before doling out advice on manning up to the Oz players. Makes me wonder what kind of cricket these guys played in school if we turned out such a generation of whingers.
achilles Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 Gunner makes a good point. We would all love to see players having an approach like Sachin, Rahul, Anil, Dada & VVS. The times are changing though and our youngsters are a very confident lot. Its good to see our young boys not getting intimidated for a change like they would have say a decade back. And they are equally apt at giving it back to the opposition.
The Dark Horse Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 ^ his face alone is a sledge. :hysterical::hysterical:

A few words from Zak that weren't even that harsh and look how he reacts. We can talk about our players, but these aussies can't handle anyone anything being said to them
