Good Lord, inswing and seaming it away? That was sensational bowling. Does anyone know if this was just a once off performance or does he usually swing the ball like that?
He does swing the brand red cherry. Its SG ball so don't know how much he can move kookaburra. He has great wrist position and control.

One more Chahar. 13 yr Rahul' date=' Deepak's brother takes 5 for 6 on debut in U-14 Zonals for Hanumangarh. Jaipur Zone bowled out for 53.[/quote'] Was it on your twitter?? lol someone tweeted this and was showing on my account. Nice to see some bowlers emerging.

He should be drafted in the WC squad, as a wild card...Might click for India.. Sometime unconventional moves click.
:haha: Remember a 'giant' wildcard our neighbours played against England , we need to stick with what we have - WC no time for experiments. If they did want to go in that direction, Chahar should've been playing atleast a few ODIs in SA.

What happened with this guy? No IPL team pick him?
RR had picked him but he could not make it to last 18. They were not impressed by him.

I have already mentioned, he has potential. The bowlers who can swing both ways are rare commodity. all he has to do is keep working hard.

Bump Most people would have watched him LIVE for the first time today. Figures don't look great but is there anything there to work on for the future?
He was injured and it was showing. Was bowling well within himself, hence pace was down. Can definitely bowl quicker than what he bowled. Was derailed once Dhawan launched into him. Couldn't settle after that. But he is only 19 and can only get better.

He bowls at the same pace always. This was not the first time. It was just he did not get anything from the pitch or in the air and bowled badly. Anyone can have bad day, but in terms of pace he is same he bowled today even on his good day.
