King Tendulkar Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 wow...what a credible source. I can't recall hatred topic in my Pakistani school books uptil grade 10? Am I missing something. . Dude you were born and brought up in the ghettos of Bradford!! Who do you think you are kidding!:hysterical:
ravishingravi Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 ^King Tendulkar. You are crossing the line. I don't agree with Pak forever, but hurling personal insults undermines all your attempts.
King Tendulkar Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 ^ Hardly an insult!!!!! I have seen a lot worse abuse then my post above, it was more an observation. You would be suprised as people on the net claim to be all kinds of things which in reality they are not
ravishingravi Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 ^ Hardly an insult!!!!! I have seen a lot worse abuse then my post above' date= it was more an observation. But it is often more effective when you focus on the argument than the poster.
Mamu Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 ^King Tendulkar. You are crossing the line. I don't agree with Pak forever' date=' but hurling personal insults undermines all your attempts.[/quote'] Ravi, KT might have hurled personal insults here, but trust -- me -- some scum bags have to be shown their rightful place. And this guy has been the epitome of troll, trash and filth -- right out of the Green Ghetto Forums, that one is so used to.
King Tendulkar Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 You have your standards' date=' I have mine. But it is often more effective when you focus on the argument than the poster.[/quote'] I only said he was born and brought up in Bradford!!! Is that abuse? Well actually if you have been to bradford it probably is:hysterical: I dont believe he was born and brought up in pak land. Just dont
Sachin=GOD Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 You mean this :winky: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Instrument_of_Surrender_(1971) :hail:

Well actually if you have been to bradford it probably is:hysterical: I dont believe he was born and brought up in pak land. Just dont :haha: Where on planet is Bradford? And why wasn't I brought up in Pakistan again? I was in Pakistan until the age of 16, and still regularly visit my beautiful country once every 2-3 years. I moved to North Amreika since then. And Mamu, defending and having a rational argument is not trolling. What I posted in this thread are positive facts about Pakistan, which people like you might not be aware of when they trash Pakistan. Trolling is actually insulting other posters day in and day out, regardless of the argument, something that implies to you perfectly well. I think this is like after a century that I am replying to your post b/c of late I just read your name and I swear I don't even bother reading what you have posted. You beat me to it this time, but I gotta keep trying. Now smile :winky:

You beat me to it this time, but I gotta keep trying. Now smile :winky: PF: What you have just claimed about Pakistan -- trying to say that you went to school and did not do through any "India Hate" Text Books and what the Truth is TROLLING. BTW also trolling is taking a DIG at every occasion at Indian New Agencies -- which in case you have not paid attention are some of the largest read English Dailies in the world, online -- quite clearly indicating that are more number of people outside India reading this daily that you take a dig at, than some of the even popular sites like NYT and Post. No matter what people say they could not have attained that status if they continued to publish trash day in and day out -- something that should have come to your mind -- if your ever thought "rationally" that you claim to do. And quite frankly you have been able to trash and troll here along with your insane friends just because our Liberal Leftist Mods have allowed you to do so. These guys have got no shame or pride in them, just like our bloody govt. Some of my posts were remotely anti-Pak and have been deleted, but people like yourself and your other friends have been allowed to stomp all over us. Coming back to topic -- Even if I have to forget what you have trolled on numerous occasions in the past, redeem yourself by explaining what you said versus what the institute says. Who is lying and why? I would really like to see your "rational" explanations. Defend yourself against what the research institute from Pakistan quotes. Just explain your statements vis-a-vis your institute. Who should I believe and why?
Laaloo Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 The Sultans of Delhi were tolerant in religious matters. They never forced the non-Muslims to convert to Islam. The Hindus embraced Islam due to the kind treatment of the Muslims. The caste system of the Hindus had made the life of the common people miserable. They were treated like animals. Nobody could claim equality with Brahmins. - Social Studies Class VI, Punjab Textbook Board, Lahore, March 2002: p 109 :cantstop:
Clarke Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 :WTF: Sohail Tanvir & Zaid Hamid write textbooks when they're unemployed :hmmmm:
The Outsider Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 Muslim children of India wear shalwar kameez or shirt and pajama and Hindu children wear Dhoti also. - Social Studies Class VI, Punjab Textbook Board, Lahore, p 79 Forget about factually correct or not, why would you even put what students in some other country wear to school in a 6th standard Social Studies textbook?
achilles Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 I think the Pakistani kids must be getting really confused when they grow up and find out that reality is diagonally opposite to the subject matter they were taught in school.
coffee_rules Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 I think the Pakistani kids must be getting really confused when they grow up and find out that reality is diagonally opposite to the subject matter they were taught in school. Like how we had been taught that Stalin was an able administrator and Lenin was Russia'savatar of MKG. I remember not reading anything bad about USSR.
Nova Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 Like how we had been taught that Stalin was an able administrator and Lenin was Russia'savatar of MKG. I remember not reading anything bad about USSR. Ahh.. the days of Indo-Soviet friendship. Stalin was actually nominated for Nobel Peace Prize. The irony! :phehehe:
Mamu Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 I think the Pakistani kids must be getting really confused when they grow up and find out that reality is diagonally opposite to the subject matter they were taught in school. No they are not. You would think they would be and at some point of time start thinking independently. Going by the numbe of radicals in the west and line of thining of some of the pople -- right here on this forum -- who apparently reside in western countires. They carry their thoughts -- their whole lives.

[/quote'] You missed the point, it was to ridicule Indians Wearing "Dhotis". Wearing Dhotis is kind of looked down by most muslims (at least Pakis), probably because it looks funny, not sure.

Lungi is pretty popular in Pakistan Punjab as on the Indian side.
Temujin Khaghan Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 wow...what a credible source. I can't recall hatred topic in my Pakistani school books uptil grade 10? Am I missing something. Instead of having a go about a trash posted by a trash news outlet, how about you bother reading Pakistani History and Social Studies and see it yourself. what happened after class 10? or are you in class 10?
Mamu Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 That's not true at all. Lungi is pretty popular in Pakistan Punjab as on the Indian side. I disagree -- what do you mean by pretty popular? Do they wear lungis to work? occassions? get-togethers? May be duing festials like Basant Panchami and all. And who ooes that -- pssibly the guy works in astall on the road side, not the average --- middle class and above Paki. Moreover the item of ridicule is Dhoti where they wrap around and tuck it in behind, looking like Hanuman (sort of).
