He looks good but he was regularly given chance against England in the recent Ashes Warm ups and failed to score much. Hence, not in the team. Even if he would have made a single 50, they would have picked him.

this thread was created only with one purpose, that if aussies selectors can opt to play a guy with 5 first class games and no experience, then why not this lad, khawaja has stats to back his selection for aussie team up, also this was an excellent knock, which deserved a thread of its own anyway. lads sorry but i think my one post in chit chat has ruined my career on icf i think, why I wrote that post was a different matter, but since that post, even apnay dost bhi dushmani dikha rahey hain! :((

i will laugh when the aussies pick steven smith to replace north.They need a real batsman and not someone faking at being an all-rounder.they could have used khawaja more than Smith if the pitch is as green as predicted.

I think that's understandable if they aren't going to put Beer in, but if they are then I'd probably have gone for Khawaja. His time is going to come very soon, no doubt about it.
