Tendulkar is turning it big and looks more threatning than our 3 seamers. Sehwag hasn't bowled yet otherwise he would have made our main bowlers look pretty bad too. Overall huge dissapointment so far. We didn't bat well, but than batting won't always win us the game. Bowlers need to lift their game up too. Batters have won us plenty of games, this once in a while crumbling is still acceptable. Yet the optimist in me say that we can save this test. COME ON INDIA.

Absolutely, too far behind to make anything of this match But I hope we're able to take something away from this. A few convincing dismissals and a good fight in the 2nd innings to show we're not bunnies on these tracks

I doubt this. It's never gone. Yes chances of winning it are perhaps going, but the test is still alive and it's for us to draw it. We need to bat well, which we have done plenty of times in the 3rd inngs i feel in the past. Just gotta watch out initial new ball and then bat like we do always. It's no rocket science. Steyn or Ambrose, or Marshall, our batting line up is still the best in the world, and if there is any line up which can avoid defeat from such circumstance, then it's India's. Tomorrow is Day 3. Most likely they will bat till tea, to add over 250 run lead. I believe if we go none down on day 3 stumps, then thats the best chance to save the test and bat like it's a flat track on Day 4. This test surely can be saved

I don't think it's that far away. Does it really make a difference whether they are 250 runs ahead or 350 runs ahead? Either way we'll have to come up with a performance like the Napier test. And keep in mind we've saved test matches from impossible situations before. What's the worst that can happen,they declare now? Then we'll need to bat out 180 overs, which we can do. Personally I think South Africa is really going to try to rub it in, get up to 400, 450 then declare with about 150 overs to bowl the Indians out. Steyn and Morkel, remember, can't bowl more then 30 overs in the innings. Which means we have to face 90 overs of Tsotsobe (on debut), Kallis (another threat but not as much as Steyn and Morkel), Harris (who we've owned in the past). If we apply ourselves, we can save this test. Also try to remember that this is just how the dice roll. Compare this match to the 2nd test against England in 2007, where we wrecked them on Day 1 where conditions were awesome for bowling. The pitch was a batting beauty though, and the weather cleared up just in time for us to bat on it. Where we CAN be faulted though is making an opporunity. As Yoda said, we miss Zak. Nobody is looking like doing anything and Dhoni is bleeding runs through singles. Why hasn't Sehwag bowled? How about a 8-1 field? Let's try something guys!
