The batting line-up which played in Pakistan in 1990 was best in the world?
That is very difficult to judge, isn't it? bottom line is they were ranked the #1 test side and remained the #1 test side until 1995 or so, and they certainly had one of the best batting lineups at the time. Wasim averaged around 23 vs them when they were ranked #1 and Waqar averaged even better at 19.4. Minnow bashers cannot and do not do that to a top team. England and India were never the best test teams during the time the two W's were playing. Wasim and Waqar's performance vs West Indies, for example, are far more significant because they were a top side for a number of years when they were playing, india and england were not. Now in fairness, Waqar had a mediocre record vs australia but most players have some sort of flaws in their record. There are exceptions (i.e Glenn Mcgrath who's record is almost flawless) but even the likes of Shane Warne had terrible records vs India, for example. No one questions his greatness. But calling Waqar a "minnow basher" is laughable to say the least and shows a complete lack of understanding of the sport. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest fast bowlers of all time, and rightfully so.

It's a known fact that paki bowlers were one-trick ponies who relied on ball tampering to get huge amounts of reverse swing and IIRC Waqar was the first bowler to be banned for ball tampering. As the number of cameras in the ground increased, the amount of swing paki bowlers achieved decreased proportionately. Remember Afridi mistaking the ball for an apple? These are undeniable facts.

Lol they would probably average 40 today, with the hd cameras at the ground preventing them from mutilating the ball and cheating. Why do you think pakiland stopped producing phaaasht bowlers? We atleast have a genuine fast bowler, what do you guys have? A trundler called junaid and a proven loser called gul lol.

Indian trundlers put Misbah's ODI career in jeopardy in the last ODI because he couldn't rotate strike to their amazing bowling skills! LOL :giggle:

sure, but we know our batsmen are poor. :--D My post was in response to the claim that Pakistan stopped producing quality fast bowlers. Hopefully Gunner enjoyed watching. :haha:

Your team got bowled out for 49 on a track where your bowlers conceded 250+ (with a spinner taking 4 wickets), even though you had the better of the bowling conditions. The SA openers are slapping around your great fart bowler Junaid, whom paki tools such as thyself were hyping based on his ODI exploits against inexperienced Indian batsmen. Even with all the cheating and chucking with full sleeves on, your bowlers are struggling to pick wickets in bowling conditions. Now if there were no hd cameras maybe they could come up with a breakthrough with a little help from innocuous bottle caps, like your bowling lajands always have. I thought no team could be *****ier than Team Dhoni, but then I forgot about you guys. I hope you're enjoying the brutal rape of your nation on both the cricket field and the real world. I for one can't stop watching.
