Jersey #10 Posted March 9, 2011 Posted March 9, 2011 He is about 50% back in form. You know UV is in form when the opposing captain stops changing the field because the ball keeps flying out of the ground regardless of field placement. UV is just not back yet but he is doing his home work and will be tested against the giants like SA and Windies When we meet the OZs in either Semis or Finals, we will need all of our horses running for the prize.

Switchblade Posted March 9, 2011 Posted March 9, 2011 But Its A Good Thing That He Is Slowly Coming Back Into Form And Has Helped India Win The Two Games While Chasing

Jersey #10 Posted March 9, 2011 Posted March 9, 2011 So THAT makes them giants ? :giggle: Top 8 teams are giants...A bit lesser than others but still fully capable of giving any team run for their money.
Rajma Chawal Posted March 9, 2011 Posted March 9, 2011 Yuvraj Singh on form is the best ODI player in the world.
ludhianvi Posted March 9, 2011 Posted March 9, 2011 Two back to back man of the match awards and finishing the game with India in trouble. Staying there till the end and taking the team to victory should be satisfying....Not bad :yess:
Mariyam Posted March 9, 2011 Posted March 9, 2011 Good comeback by Yuvraj Singh. As an bowling option he has done pretty well. The 3 50s are also quite an achievement. However, from that the last 2 were scored when not much acceleration was required. Hope to see the same from him in pressure situations.
Ram Posted March 9, 2011 Posted March 9, 2011 Lets not fool ourselves shall we. The Yuvraj we see today isn’t even a half of the Yuvraj that we saw between 2003 and 2008. The good news is, he’s at least not the Yuvraj we saw in 2010 (fumbling, bumbling, prone to injury, low on confidence and morale). You can tell that he still has the temperament of a top-class match closer (as shown in the previous two matches), but his technique and game are nowhere near the levels they used to be, when he was the destructive middle order bat he was, before. At least, he maybe on his way to be getting there, eventually. Of course, it would be unfair to not mention the significant boost his bowling has given to our ODI side, especially in the last 2 years.
Jadoo Posted March 9, 2011 Posted March 9, 2011 2 innings in a row now where UV has grinded the runs out and taken us to the finishing line. Nice to see him playing these mature innings, add to that his ability to hit the bowl out of the park he is seriously looking dangerous.
Schickelgruber Posted March 9, 2011 Posted March 9, 2011 Just a minnow basher. There are other better and consistent players in the Indian side.
Switchblade Posted March 9, 2011 Posted March 9, 2011 Just a minnow basher. There are other better and consistent players in the Indian side. He did well against ENGLAND
Schickelgruber Posted March 9, 2011 Posted March 9, 2011 He did well against ENGLAND So did Ten Doeschate.
Switchblade Posted March 9, 2011 Posted March 9, 2011 So did Ten Doeschate. U cant dismiss him Schickel agree he was injured and didnt do well but he is a dangerous player when he is in full flow he has also done well against ur side
vvvslaxman Posted March 9, 2011 Posted March 9, 2011 Just a minnow basher. There are other better and consistent players in the Indian side. He averages 50 against Pakistan. I totally agree he is a minnowbasher :cantstop:
Schickelgruber Posted March 9, 2011 Posted March 9, 2011 U cant dismiss him Schickel agree he was injured and didnt do well but he is a dangerous player when he is in full flow he has also done well against ur side I'm not denying the talent, but he really is not the same as before. He is getting better but we can only wait and see what he does in the QF to get an idea of where he stands.
