Is Pietersen really uncomfortable against left arm spinners?

Did he not make Cricinfos AT England Dream team? Ahead of guys like Compton and May, who are regarded as greats. Shows how highly he is rated by the xperts who chose that team

Kevin Pietersen He looked very determined and threatening. One guy I fear in this line up. I think he really wants to do well this series. Brilliant how he danced down the track first ball with 3 overs to go.

IMO on turners the best way to negate it is to attack. get to the pitch of the ball and give it a whack before it can turn and bounce. But KP Cook partnership should be fun. Cook to keep things in control on one end and KP whacking the spinners. Hopefully. By the way, I wasn't up at 4 this morning so I didn't watch anything. But was Cook at any point looking troubled?

Cook missed a few balls but not really seem bothered. The best sign was cook looked positive.

He will fail miserably in this series with that approach. You need to be positive while playing against spin but the way KP came down the track for that first ball, he seemed more nervous than anything. Being positive means you put the bad ball away and keep rotating the strike. Not strike out like a mad man.

Apparently he only came down the track because UV's first ball was an absolute pie?
