patriot Posted March 11, 2011 Posted March 11, 2011 Afridi: I am one of the few stars left in Pakistan, respect me, don't be jealous of my success CYzLtQzqZ1c :hysterical::cantstop:
Manny_Pacquiao Posted March 12, 2011 Posted March 12, 2011 the guy is a joke. its always great fun to watch him mouthing off like a rabid dog at his bowlers and fielders when they screw up. what great captaincy. if the pakis had some sense, younis khan would be their captain. instead they have this guy...:hysterical: then again, he is probably the highest earning kirketer in pakistan, makes the most money from endorsing shampoo and tampons
Switchblade Posted March 12, 2011 Author Posted March 12, 2011 :giggle: you should command not demand respect
zen Posted March 12, 2011 Posted March 12, 2011 Appears as if Pak in desperately trying to improve but this could have a negative impact too w/ players not enjoying the game and feeling the extra pressure
Clarke Posted March 12, 2011 Posted March 12, 2011 There's that song by Junoon and then there's this one.

The chap is cool, calm and collected, doesn't throw any tantrums and the team plays well under him. Wouldn't have made Younis captain after he retired, came back, retired again and didn't really want the captaincy.
cowboysfan Posted March 12, 2011 Posted March 12, 2011 i commend this patriot guy.anybody else would have gone stark raving mad sitting at his laptop and trolling for paki news(and youtube) all the time ,it takes a special kind of obsession.

Misu243 Posted March 12, 2011 Posted March 12, 2011 Afridi is clearly not in the same league of top batsmen like Sehwag, Tendulkar, Strauss, DeVilliers that we've seen perform in this tournament. He should become specialist bowler.
Iconoclast Posted March 12, 2011 Posted March 12, 2011 I would have made Misbah captain. The chap is cool' date=' calm and collected, doesn't throw any tantrums and the team plays well under him. This tournament will be Afraidee's swan song hopefully.

King Posted March 12, 2011 Posted March 12, 2011 Sounds a level headed bloke to me but I know he has not been one in the past. Perhaps experience of life and cricket making him a better person? I'm not too sure.
King Posted March 12, 2011 Posted March 12, 2011 There you go got rid of the double, now you are not drunk :--D
Raghav_12 Posted March 12, 2011 Posted March 12, 2011 It's really comical.. I don't know from where this guy draws so much arrogance and how his team stands him...!!
