I usually get lot of headaches but last summer, I had a migraine ( thumping ) on my left side which went on for 10 days and stopped I had the same about 2 weeks ago, headache wouldn't go away and I was taking oxycodenes to releive it. 2 of my co-workers are experiencing the same thing, but not migraines? WTF is this, is this common? The only common thing I found was change in weather, from cool to hot? allergy, stress? I dont get it

Did you have a scan for tumours? Not that I have any medical knowledge at all but thats what I would be worried about, mind you I tend to fear the worst if I have minor health complaints.

I am leaning towards stress/Blood Pressure. Also, I went on a binge over these Excel Mints ( Dual Layer ), I had atleast 15-20 a day and these seem to be a common factor beore this headache rally. They contain aspartame which is a triggerfor migraine, I have stopped them since then Sleep - Yes , fine Homeopathy - Next option Cancer/Tumour - Most common fear in Migraines Didn't lift anythng heavy, I am heavy myself so I guess losing weight would be the way to go

It must be migraines. I am suffering from migraines and seizures since childhood and their is no permamnent cure for migraines, just medicines to give temporary relief. I feel light migraines continuously everytime and sometimes get heavy nerve thumping headaches at that time I have to take pain killers. I have also suffered Classical migraines also called as Migraines with aura though it does not happen regularly, but i have suffered this condition 8-10 times in last 15 years. I first experienced this when I was 12 as I remember. Medicines didn't benefit much in this condition. Migraine with aura is very painful I tell you, It is like having slow death which I never actually get and it takes a long time to recover whenever I get it. If you do not have tumors or anything evident comes out through CT or MRI scan then go for EEG testing, it will tell you more about your nerves in brain which are minor things are responsible for these headaches. Consult if you can have Migraine with aura in future as you are having migraines now and take full treatment which will certainly reduce the possibility.

Go exercise and play high intense sports. You mind will clear as day. It works for me.
+1000000.... If you are already not regular, then try running, squash, tennis, cycling, gym(weights+cardio) or some sport (even stairs work) where you get to sweat/pant heavily for at least for 30-40 minutes - at least 3-4 days a week. And yes - eat well, especially breakfast and meals before & after workout/sport. Within 1 month of developing this habit, you will see surprising changes in your energy levels/focus, and overall health (all those blood pressure, allergic reactions and stuff). And if you can not develop such habits, then start saving money for doctors. If some symptoms are troubling your sleep, focus - then get it checked asap. It could be due to something as simple as posture, food habits - but you better be sure than sorry later.
