picked up 4 for nothing but its how he bowled that impressed .... superb spell. some support from others and Eng could have been struggling to save the game You should be able to do at least two of the four well to be selected for tests: bowl quick, swing, reverse, have the ability to create awkward bounce for the batsman

It was pretty obvious to anyone watching, but Sky had 1st/2nd innings pitch maps on third man, he was bowling rubbish way outside offstump initially but found that channel closer to off later...pretty much every delivery 2nd innings was in that area. Reaped the rewards e.g. for Trott's wicket. Excellent spell.

Sharma was outstanding, just outstanding. That was the best spell of fast bowling on a flat track I have seen from an Indian for a long time, and that's saying something. He was a stymied by a rubbish plan devised by the overrated Fletcher in the first inning but returned to basics in the second- length, bounce, off stump. The dismissals of Bell & Trott were eerily reminiscent of McGrath in his pomp. Keep it up, kiddo.

Absolutely brilliant bowling by IS this morning. Flat pitch, sun out, India way behind in the game and he delivered. Both PK and IS took up the task of making up for Zak at different points in the game but our emotional leader didn't.

The problem is with having unrealistic expectations - there were talks of him overtaking Steyn after the West Indies tour. The real problem is the overwork of the seam bowlers because our Leachbhajan Singh is making it large. All the bowlers were very good in the first innings, but the workload is obviously going to take a toll if the support act from the spinner is so shabby in the second innings.

yeah..it was obvious he was tired. He has bowled huge amount of overs in last 5 tests, but the biggest problem is stamina and fitness which is still not up to international standard for any of Indian fast bowler in this series.
