Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) President, Jagmohan Dalmiya, on Wednesday, reiterated the board's stance on the usage of the Decision Review System (DRS). Dalmiya clarified that while BCCI's stand "remained same", they were open to discussions, a contrast from the stand opted by the board during N Srinivasan's regime. BCCI, has long known to not be in favour of technology, in its current form, to be used to adjudicate contentious decisions. However, Dalmiya's statements suggest the possibility of the Indian board considering using a modified version of the same in certain bilateral series. "It is clarified that the stand taken on the Decision Review System (DRS) by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) remains the same as on date. "The argument against the use of DRS technology is that the system is not foolproof yet. However, since the issue involves technical aspects, views of the Cricket Advisory Committee could also be obtained by BCCI in the subject issue." Dalmiya's statements come days after India Test skipper Virat Kohli was asked about the DRS System during India's one-off Test against Bangladesh. Kohli, for his part, felt that the matter needed thorough analysis from the stakeholders concerned i.e the batsmen and bowlers. "You have to sit and analyse and ask the bowlers what they feel about it. Ask the batters what they feel about that. We literally just came into this Test match with very less time on hand. So now that we have time, I am sure these discussions will take place," Kohli had said. Back to back wrong decisions against India. First Chandimal, then Thirimanne. How on earth are these 3rd class idiots still against DRS? Any close decision and umpires can safely rule against India, after all we are at fault with our stubborn stance. Imagine if ABDV, Du Plessis and Amla get reprieves every match and Rahane, Vijay,Kohli get stinkers in the winter series. I cannot grasp the stupidity of BCCI and Indian players.

Cost us the first Test in Australia and set the momentum for the entire series. Even in the last two English tours, all the 50-50 decisions and howlers went against India. Dunno what these BCCI idiots are thinking.

^ No. All that will happen is that everyone (including BCCI) will make some promising noises, the Indian team's morale will be deflated and we'll lose the remaining Tests. I'd prefer us to win, and then for Kohli to strongly raise this issue :)
