Number Posted June 28, 2011 Posted June 28, 2011 Obviously FLT20 >>>> IPL! Would say this even if Pakistani players were playing the IPL! FLT20 is proper cricket, IPL is just a tamasha with a disturbing display of wealth, glitz and glamour rather than the game itself! in other thread some poster made you aware that chamindaa vaas opens for a side playing in pathetic FLT , while you were talking about zaheer coming at 3rd against RCB . you are busy watching each and every match of a league in which your players are not allowed , while don't even know whats happening in a league where your own players are playing.
Sachinism Posted June 28, 2011 Posted June 28, 2011 Come on of course its FLT, they have the worlds greatest T20 players and ball biters.
Sachinism Posted June 28, 2011 Posted June 28, 2011 There are plenty of international stars in the FL T20 aswell' date=' infact I would say there are a lot more mediocre international players in the IPL [look at the aussie coaches giving there homeboys contracts for example'] and the domestic players in IPL are of a similar if not poorer standard to the ones in the FL T20. Either way they are both just the same T20 bull at the end of the day, but I know what I would prefer to watch, the one without screaming commentators shouting corporate slogans every 20 seconds :giggle: Carry on living in your fantasy world where everything in the west is supposedly better. The standard of cricket in FLT sucks balls, you can put down IPL as much as you want, but its better. Yes you don't get all the sponsorship crap in your face, but hey thats the money your boys are ready with their pants around their ankles and a bottle of lube in hand to get. Lets take a look at yesterday's match, I didn't watch all of it but watching Afridi and Tahir run through Sussex was shocking. The batsmen looked like they were facing spin for the 1st time, no doubt they're very good bowlers, but DAMN!
mishra Posted June 28, 2011 Posted June 28, 2011 Friends Life T20 :giggle: Man you made a mock of OP and a lot other here... :headshake: Unless OP was about what you said. :hmmm:
ganeshran Posted June 28, 2011 Posted June 28, 2011 I first thought OP was talking about the tournament that was going in Pakistan.
mishra Posted June 28, 2011 Posted June 28, 2011 I am still not clear.... after 38 posts on this thread. Long live icf :--D
Captain of Bhangra Posted June 28, 2011 Posted June 28, 2011 FLT is entertaining. I watch it when it's on, BUT, even an Englishman will tell you the IPL is better. Of course the Paks would say otherwise, when their boys are snubbed for the IPL. Couple that with the fact that some of their boys did well in last night's match between Hampshire & Sussex. What really makes me laugh is the fact they have to debate about an English league & an Indian one. Does a Pakistani one even exist?...

OP :two_thumbs_up: FLT Vs IPL Which one of these two leagues is better. There are a few folks who feel T20 league in Pakistan is better than these two leagues.

mishra Posted June 28, 2011 Posted June 28, 2011 What's your doubt Mishraji?? FLT is faisalabad bank t20 or friend life t20?
The Outsider Posted June 28, 2011 Posted June 28, 2011 Guys, quit derailing threads by attacking posters' nationalities. If you are so curious have this conversation through PMs. If this carries on warnings and bans may be handed out.
Rana Posted June 28, 2011 Posted June 28, 2011 The bowling quality in FLt20 is much much better than IPL. The grounds are a hell of a lot better in FLt20. the feilding level is waaaay better in Flt20. The players are a hell of a lot more professional in FLT20. The coverage and commentary is much better in FLt20. And the final conlusion, without pakistani players who make any cricketing event spicy, no league is as entertaining.

Sachinism Posted June 28, 2011 Posted June 28, 2011 These are all true just because you say it? Of course, isn't that how it works?
Rana Posted June 28, 2011 Posted June 28, 2011 These are all true just because you say it? this is my verdict after thoroughly watching both over the years, IPL has the edge in the past 2-3 years. But you know it, we all know it, IPL is CRAP.
Rana Posted June 28, 2011 Posted June 28, 2011 Of course' date=' isn't that how it works?[/quote'] Thats how it works in ICC with the BCCI.
Cricketics Posted June 28, 2011 Posted June 28, 2011 I follow whenever I am home. They are showing it on star cricket in INdia and lucky for us in U.S, Willow Cricket is getting their feed and we get to see most of the matches. It's fun to follow when its on. Good time pass. You can't really compare quality of cricket. 2020 is same quality played everywhere. I guess if you in England, you would find this more interesting than IPL. If one is from India, IPL takes the cake.
