Its not easy for a newcomer to adjust to different conditions in Test cricket, but Praveen has done it expertly in varying conditions in the Caribbean and now England.

Kept a touch lower and Trott missed it as he tried to work to leg. Big appeal and after some thought Bowden has the finger up. Crucial breakthrough! 160/3 92.1 to Bell, 124.6 kph, stop the press. India have held a catch behind the stumps. It's a beauty from Praveen, no pace just super precise and skillful seam work. Short of a length on off stump, Bell chose to stay back and play from the crease, but this wafted away nicely off the seam and took the outside edge. The ball was dying on Dhoni even as he dived low to his right, but this time he holds on. 270/4 92.4 to Morgan, 124.9 kph, Two in the over, Praveen has turned this match around within the space of four balls. This is tentative batting as much as outstanding bowling. This one did not do much off the pitch, as much as threaten to move this way or that. Angles in from slightly wide of the crease, Morgan is neither forward nor back as he looks to defend and gets an inside edge that goes between bat-pad gap through to Dhoni. Praveen gets his fifth with some hooping swing into the left-hander's pads. Ball evaded bat and the umpire upheld the appeal. 390/7 Have to appreciate a 5-for :hatsoff:

No speed, doesn't pitch up that much, friendly swing which a top test batsmen should be able to handle .... can he reverse when the ball gets old (probably not with his pace)? .... Seems not that good when bowling to left handers (why can't he come around the wkts to lefties? Is Strauss going to nick something pitching on middle-leg and swinging away? .... Ok finally comes around the wkt) Appears as if if India would pick someone like Ganguly as a bowler over Sree Hopefully PK would prove me wrong and gets 3-4 wkts .... but anytime someone wants to start a thread like 'why Ind doesn't produce fast bowlers' remember what we do to guys like Sree. We try to tone done the aggression and try to turn him into a PK type of bowler He got 5. Now STFU and apologise to him! Eat humble pie and admit you were wrong:--D
