Ever heard of the 2011 World Cup Finals? :cantstop:
No offense to you but what was Dhoni's contribution minus Yvraj,Sachin,Sehwag,Zaheer and Raina 'Prior' to the final.

very good. For me, the most important players in test matches for india are first Dhoni , then Laxman , then dravid.
Can you back the statement with Capt.Cool's performance in the last few Test series? Please don't tell me WK because he definitely is not the best keeper in the world and if you talk about contribution in tests VVS,SRT,Dravid,Zaheer,Harbhajan,Sehwag,Gambhir,Sreeshanth(SA series) are definitely way ahead of him in setting up victories in tests over the last few years.

Actually, he could've shut all of us.. The whole day we were following Dravids epic battle with help of VVS and UV. The moment M came, we knew that he won't survive. Why? Because he has become very egoistic, inflexible and adamant. He doesn't adapts.. And we knew he wont survive few overs as egoistic M will try to go 'hard' on every deliveries.. Somebody should tell that moron that it doesn't work on Non-FTB and Non-Subcontinent wickets.. And he duely got out to open the flood gates..
You need to understand this is the only way he can survive in these conditions. He does not have technique to play new ball when it is swinging and seaming. Look at what happened to set Yuvraj as the new ball came and he had one drop catch. Though I would have liked him to play like he played in Lords first innings played 102 balls and scored 28. It could have gained us around 50-60 more runs. Moronic Indian cricket fans

The reason im so angry is that yesterday i went into coral bookies and put £350.00 on india to win' date='whilst we were on 260-4 i was rubbing my hands with glee and thinking yes nice..... [b']then when the batsmen started throwing there wickets away my hands started making the middle finger salute to my tv and teri bhan ki you mother feckers were coming quite regularly from my mouth,my customers were coming in the shop and were saying hey whats you maa chaud?? heheeeee..... seriously the moneys not the issue, its the way the batsmen threw there wickets away and didnt just try and hang around with dravid, and make malfoy look so good(who for some reason when i see him,i just wanna punch his face in)damm it we are the number 1 team show some passion, thats all we want, people have a go at sreesanth n pk but at least they play with passion, bhaji needs to get that attitude back too!!!!!
:hysterical::hysterical::hysterical: Playa.. I like you honest opinion.. Same feelings here..

Dhoni has been disappointing all right. He's a mad bloke' date=' he may just stand down from captaincy and call it quits to cricket overall. India's biggest disappointment so far has been lack of good opening partnerships. Unless Sehwag and Gambhir are back in the fold India will continue to struggle.[/quote'] I never lose confidence in him, so far he has turned put to be a maverick. There's still time time left in the game and series

Captaincy. he has already captained india to more test wins than any other captain in history (if you dont count wins against bangladesh and zimbabwe.) Also, compare the win\loss ratio.:

This isn't about his captaincy, o-disciples of Dhoni. The critique is about taking responsibility, batting well and keeping well. If he can't get into the team on his batting/bowling/keeping, then should he be in the team solely because he's a good captain. Great teams choose their best playing 11 and then choose a captain from those players.

Strangely, Dhobi has this knack of turning things around every time just when the whole of India starts suffering from borderline hypertension because of him. Let's see if he can pull a bunny out of his hat soon; won't be surprised if he does, he's been at Lady Luck's bosom for a good while now.

There is something called 'form', apparently no player bar Bradman has played good all their life. So Dhoni too is going through a poor phase, so give the guy a break. He'll be back. Fans are ready to slaughter players anytime.

Ok, We Indian fans have really little memory, he just made a 75-odd in the last test b4 this series, and he has played just 3 innings in this series.Even in SA series b4 WC, he was quite good. Its just that he is going through a rough phase. And he aint a opener, but still he had to face the new ball in each of the 3 innings he has played so far, just waiting for a time when we are 5 down b4 the 50th over, and then, im sure MSD will be f***ing good.

Right, so who are the superior players Dhoni is keeping out of the team just because he is captain?

+1 Yup. He has the knack of shutting everyone up in one innings. Hope that happens in this test.

By the way our famed batting lineup is going these days, you might get your wish as early as the next innings.
