Srinath was awesome and he had very good pace too. We never realised his importance while he was playing' date=' he was not hyped much and we did not have speed-guns.[/quote'] He never seemed to compromise with his natural speed for accuracy and he was more effective than some bowlers who become line and length bowler.

Mark Ealham could bowl 'quick' Sent from my Desire HD using Tapatalk
That reflects even poorly on our trundlers .... One of the reasons why this club came up

Go on..Lynch me..But I love this guy's bowling. How he could bowl in the late 130s and early 140s is beyond me
To bowl fast is not equivalent to physique. Physique helps but it's NOT the only thing. If that was the case, Undertaker would have been the world's fastest bowler! :--D

how will you encourage fast bowling culture in India with the help being a keyboard warrior
Pen can be mightier than sword at times. :P

I am disappointed at fletcher ,he used to say only bowlers who have pace can take wikcets in tests when he was coach of england ,but now he is just doing nothing and just being friends with senior players and earning money as did kirsten.how much you hate greg chappel but he did show the mirror to guys like ganguly, bhajji, shewag, zak when they had pot bellies and were unfit look where they are now.

He dos not even know what kind of bowlers we have in domestic and he will get only information which he gets from team players. In England, he knew everything about them and their counties. He must look to improve out fast bowling stocks, but this selection committee never gives a long rope to a potential bowler like Sudeep Tyagi rather is giving chances to a sheer trundler like Vinay Kumar.

....... Membership rules: * Oppose any trundler bowling for Ind, even though he could swing the ball a little :isalute: PS addition to membership criteria
Hoe exactly do you propose to 'oppose' any trundler? Oh , I geddit... see you outside the Vidhan Sabha at 8 tomorrow morning. Don't worry, I'll get the placards. :P

It's more about posting on the internet against the selection of these trundler :hitler: If you want to get placards, be my guest .... but it should be in front of BCCI as Vidan Sabha doesn't get involved much with cricket :P

Important question is who is classified as trundler and who is not? What the criteria to become a trundler?
Anyone who even in his prime cannot (or could not) bowl over 85mph (137 kmph) at will :winky:

Is Zak a trundler? He bowls at high 120s or low 130s and he is at his prime for last 3 years. So as Munna , though he bowled in 140s when he started, he never bowls at high 130s nowadays. Are members of anti-trundlers club ok with someone who bowled phaast in one or two season but a trundler for rest of his career?
