Midfielder Posted August 6, 2011 Posted August 6, 2011 I would sit Dhoni, Zak and Tendulkar for the next match. Not that they are bad but they are woefully out of form. This would definitely help the team. Saha for Dhoni, Sree for Zak and Mukund for Tenulkar.

Crookbond Posted August 6, 2011 Posted August 6, 2011 I would bring in Munaf Patel for Stuart Broad and Appam C for Tim Bresnan.
Trichromatic Posted August 6, 2011 Posted August 6, 2011 What can I say, when I see someone saying that Tendulkar is woefully out of form. Zak won't play next test anyway. Mukund for Sachin? :hysterical: Mods please move this thread to jokes section.
Midfielder Posted August 6, 2011 Author Posted August 6, 2011 I am dead serious, this is only for one match. I think they will come back stronger fpr the last one. All three are great but are low on confidence right now. This team has yet to cross 300 once and it seems the middle really depends on Gambhir and Sehwag to fire otherwise they are in trouble.
Midfielder Posted August 6, 2011 Author Posted August 6, 2011 What can I say' date=' when I see someone saying that Tendulkar is out of form.[/quote'] He is really very very low on confidence. It is not his game that is an issue it is the mental part where there is some problem.

Trichromatic Posted August 6, 2011 Posted August 6, 2011 Absence of Bhajji is taking it's toll now.. What will happen after 4th test?
Midfielder Posted August 6, 2011 Author Posted August 6, 2011 Let us not bring Bhajji in this discussion. That topic has been beaten to death.
Midfielder Posted August 6, 2011 Author Posted August 6, 2011 I have seen Torres, Ballack, T Owens benched for sometime why not these guys?
Andy Posted August 6, 2011 Posted August 6, 2011 I have seen Torres' date=' Ballack, T Owens benched for sometime why not these guys?[/quote'] Because This is Cricket :D
Midfielder Posted August 6, 2011 Author Posted August 6, 2011 Because This is Cricket :D Thats a good one. But on a serious note why not?
Andy Posted August 6, 2011 Posted August 6, 2011 Thats a good one. But on a serious note why not? In football the probability of a Lesser Skilled Player Outplaying a More Skilled player is much more than its in Cricket. Thats why we see Upsets happening more in Football than Cricket. Its Impossible to replace a Player Like Tendulkar with that of Mukund.

I dont think the lesser skilled player outperforms a more skill player consistently but what happens is that someone is dead cold and he could take sometime to come back or someone has a hot hand and can be persisted with. Those are my thoughts and I have nothing to back that up in cricket because the game is not so evolved compared to other sports unfortunately. More later as I have to go.
