When it strikes the ground it has to lose some pace. Bowling speeds in cricket are generally measured from the hand. 142k is fast enough, and Dravid got beat with inswing.

He is no 130k medium pacer .he is a 149k fast bowler ..he will strike n get 3 to 4 wickets In each or most of his games and will bcom The root vause Of all our wins.

He should have done all these things in domestic.. just 1 fifer in 19 matches indicates he does not know how to take wickets for a genuine fast bowler. Not sure how he can learn all these things in 10 matches.

WTF are the coaches doing them, i would say drop them first before dropping varun aaron. if varun becomes a failure it is a direct reflection of the coaches not doing their job. Really pathetic. If he would have been in australia, they would have taught him well..

In most cases the ball slows down a bit after pitching, specially on sub continent pitches.

I remember he had a decent IPL, did not go for too many runs as in this match, so he has the control needed, just was lacking in confidence.

Spinners who bowl with lot of overspin will do it once in a while.

Not at the same speed, but enough reverse swing, cant compare these balls with the balls they use and the conditions they play in these days, specially in ODI's..
