More than the new name being true to its roots, its rather embarrassing (imagine a man saying at an international national conference, "Saar, I hail from the city of Bengaluru/Mangaluru". "I hail from the state of Poschim Bangal". Politics seriously ruins a state and makes its name a bit of a joke. It also diminishes the brand value of the state. o0uJpV59WTA Watch from 45sec Loved it.
